Aggiornamento: giugno 2000 Partenza: Borghetto Vara è situato sull'Aurelia al termine dalla discesa dal Bracco. Percorso
Dalla piazza alberata di Borghetto Vara, da dove partono le corriere, si entra
sull'Aurelia in direzione La Spezia.
Dopo circa duecento metri, superata una chiesetta, si prende a destra via Ripalta
e si svolta ancora a destra immediatamente in via Redarena.
Si prosegue pianeggiando dapprima su asfalto, poi su sterrato. La stradina costeggia
il rio Redarena ed ogni tanto lo attraversa. Si trascura una sterrata in salita
a destra (km 3.5) e si prosegue sulla strada che inizia a salire a tornanti.
Si raggiungono delle case dove si incontra l´asfalto (km 5). Si sale a destra
per superare un valico e scendere alla provinciale. Si scende a sinistra fino
a Casale e poi a Pignone (km 10).
All´incrocio si svolta a destra per Levanto e si prosegue in salita fino all´incrocio
a destra con una piccola asfaltata (km 14,2) indicata per monte Albereto. In salita
si superano vari gruppi di case per raggiungere un punto in cui la strada scollina
(km 17,5). Si prosegue in discesa a cui segue una breve risalita e si scende ad
un incrocio (km 18,6).
Qui si segue la strada a destra, con vista su Levanto. La strada scende
leggermente fino ad una cappella, poi pianeggia fino ad un bivio dove si riprende
a salire (km 19,5)
Si arriva così al passo Bardellone (km 21,7), zona prativa da dove passano molti
percorsi. Dislivello: circa 700 m. Ciclabilità: 100% Osservazioni: Il passo del Bardellone è al centro degli itinerari
situati sulle montagne che separano la bassa Val di Vara dal mare. Lo ritroveremo
in altre occasioni.
From Borghetto to Passo Bardellone
Updating: giugno 2000 Trail description.
From the square planted with trees of Borghetto Vara, from where the buses depart,
we enter on the Aurelia, direction La Spezia.
Later around two hundred meters, get over a church, we take to the right street
Ripalta and we immediately turn to the right still at the street Redarena.
We continue at first on asphalt road, then on dirt. The narrow road skirts along
the Redarena brook and it sometimes crosses it. We neglect a dirt road to the
right in slope (km 3.5) and we continue on the road that begins to climb with
hairping curves.
We reach some houses where we meet the asphalt (km 5). We rise to the right for
overcoming a pass and to go down to the provincial road. We go down to the left
up to Casale and then to Pignone (km 10).
At the intersection we turn to the right for Levanto and we continue in slope
as far as cross to the right a narrow asphalt road (km 14,2; indications for mountain
Albereto). In slope we get over some groups of houses to reach a point in which
the road go down (km 17,5). We continue in descent to which follows a short ascent
and we go down to an intersection (km 18,6).
Here we follow the ample dirt road to the right, with sight on Levanto. The road
slightly goes down to a chapel, then in plain to a fork where we start over climbing
(km 19,5)
We arrive so to the passo Bardellone (km 21,7), meadow zone from where they pass
