Dalla piazza saliamo sulla sinistra in una stradina che esce dal paese. Al primo
bivio andiamo a destra (indicazioni).
La strada sale stretta e abbastanza ripida.
Superiamo le prime case di Barchi e raggiungiamo un bivio (km 2,75) dove saliamo
a sinistra raggiungendo le case superiori.
Lasciamo a sinistra la strada per Bertassi ed usciamo dalle case seguendo la strada
a destra.
La salita ci porta ad un bivio (km 5). Lasciamo a destra la strada per Bertone
ed andiamo a sinistra.
La strada continua a salire, ora sterrata. Superiamo una spalla con bella vista
su Bertone ed il monte Alfeo ed iniziamo la lunga diagonale sul versante meridionale
del monte.
La strada ritorna asfaltata e proseguiamo su asfalto per 2 km, poi la pendenza
diminuisce e raggiungiamo facilmente il Passo Maddalena (km 10,5) dove incrociamo
il segnavia FIE .
Seguendolo a destra potremmo accedere alle numerose possibilità offerte
dal monte Alfeo.
Proseguiamo sulla sterrata che scende rapidamente. Dopo sette tornanti percorriamo
l'ultimo traverso che porta alle case di Suzzi (km 15,8). Dislivello: salita 880 m; discesa 430 m. Ciclabilità: 100%. Asfalto: 44% Osservazioni:

From the square we climb on the left in a narrow road that goes out of the country.
At the first fork we go to the right (indications).
The road climbs narrow and enough steep.
We get over the first houses of Barchi and we reach a fork (km 2,75) where climb
to the left reaching the superior houses.
We leave to the left the road for Bertassi and we go out of the houses following
to the right the road.
The ascent leads to a fork (km 5). We leave to the right the road for Bertone
and we go to the left.
The road continues to climb, now dirt road. We get over a shoulder with beautiful
sight on Bertone and the Alfeo mountain and we begin the long diagonal on the
southern side of the mountain.
The road returns tarmac and we continues on asphalt for 2 kms, then the inclination
decreases and we easily reaches the Pass Maddalena (km 10,5) where we cross
the trail sign FIE .
Following to the right it we could access the numerous possibilities offered
by the Alfeo mountain.
We continue on the dirt road that quickly goes down. After seven hairpin bends
we cross the last beam that leads to the houses of Suzzi (km 15,8). Gradient: ascent 880 ms; come down 430 ms. Cycle: 100%. Tarmac: 44% Observations: I don't have a map of this zone yet.
