Al Passo del Fante è situato un crocevia di sentieri. Verso sud va il sentiero
per il passo di Fregarolo, a nord il sentiero per i passi di Esola, Ertola e Foppiano,
ad est il sentiero che scende a Brignole. Il nostro sentiero scende ad ovest (segnavia
FIE: ).
La discesa è subito difficile a causa dell'erosione del sentiero, stretto
e roccioso e ripido.
Proseguendo i tratti ciclabili si fanno sempre più ampi ed infine possiamo
progredire in sella.
Il sentiero termina al guado di un ruscello (km 1,7). Saliamo sull'altra riva
e troviamo quasi subito una stradina che confluisce poi in una strada forestale
(km 2).
La seguiamo in discesa. La strada diventa asfaltata nei pressi di un campetto
sportivo e poi attraversa il Bosco delle Fate ormai trasformato in un giardino
(e le fate sono di certo andate da un'altra parte).
Rapidamente scendiamo alla piazza della chiesa di Fontanigorda (km 4). Dislivello: -460 m. Ciclabilità: 97%. Asfalto: 23% Osservazioni: utilizzabile solo in discesa.
Descent from the Pass del Fante to Fontanigorda

At the Pass del Fante it is situated a crossroad of paths. Toward south the
path goes for the pass of Fregarolo, to north the path for the Passes of Esola,
Ertola and Foppiano, to east the path that goes down to Brignole. Our path goes
down to west (trail sign FIE: ).
The descent immediately is difficult because of the erosion of the path, narrow
and rocky and steep.
Continuing the cycle stretches they are done more and more ample and we can
finally progress always in saddle.
The path finishes to the ford of a brook (km 1,7). Climb on the other shore
and we almost immediately find a narrow road that meets in a forest road (km
2).
We follow it in descent. The dirt road becomes tarmac near a sporting field
and then it crosses the Wood of the Fairies by now turned into a garden (and
the fairies are of certain gone to another part).
Quickly we go down to the square of the church of Fontanigorda (km 4). Gradient: -460 ms. Cycle: 97%. Tarmac: 21% Observations: only descent. The Fante Pass is situated on the crossing
from the pass of Foppiano to the pass of Fregarolo. You see itinerary 10.
