Dalla croce sulla vetta principale scendiamo verso nord, superiamo la sella e guadagniamo la vetta settentrionale. Proseguiamo
sul crinale fino al suo termine (km 0,4; segnavia FIE ).
Il sentiero scende ripidissimo e dissestato sul versante settentrionale. Scendiamo
come meglio possiamo e raggiungiamo una sterrata dove terminano le difficoltà
(km 1).
Proseguiamo sulla sterrata che scende veloce e gradatamente migliora. Raggiungiamo
Casa Carrosina (km 3) e proseguiamo raggiungendo un bivio (km 3,2).
Lasciamo i segnavia diretti al monte Tobbio e scendiamo a destra; seguiremo al contrario l'itinerario 16. La sterrata scende prima di salire. Raggiungiamo
i ruderi di cascina Castiglione (km 5) e scendiamo ripidamente. La strada presenta ancora
una breve salita prima di scendere verso il fondovalle.
Lasciamo a destra la grande cascina Acquestriate (km 8) e proseguiamo sulla strada che raggiunge
la provinciale SP160 in corrispondenza di un ponticello (km 8,8; ponte San Giorgio).

From the cross on the principal peak we go down toward north, we overcome the saddle and we climb the northern peak. We continue on the ridge up to itsterm (km 0,4; trail sign FIE ).
The path goes down steep and ruined on the northern slope. We go down as we are able and we reach an unmetalled road where they finish the difficulties (km 1).
We continue on the unmetalled road that goes down fast and gradually it improves. We reach House Carrosina (km 3) and we continue reaching a fork (km 3,2).
We leave the trail signs going to the Tobbio mountain and we go down to the right; we will follow contrarily the itinerary 16. The unmetalled road goes down before climbing. We reach the ruins of farmhouse Castiglione (km 5) and we steeply go down. The road offers a brief slope before going down toward the thalweg.
We leave to the right the great farmhouse Acquestriate (km 8) and we continue on the road that reaches the provincial SP160 in correspondence of a bridge (km 8,8; bridge St. George).
