Descrizione.
Partiamo dalla stazione di Busalla ed andiamo verso Genova sulla strada statale.
Dopo 200 metri troviamo a destra via Martiri di Voltaggio. Svoltiamo e saliamo
ripidamente fino ad un incrocio dove svoltiamo a sinistra.
Siamo sulla strada asfaltata che seguiamo fedelmente. Al termine della parte più
ripida lasciamo a destra il segnavia FIE (

km 1,4).
La strada prosegue alta sul cupo lago della Busalletta, raggiunge il culmine e
scende raggiungendo le case di Chiappari (km 4,2).
Non entriamo in paese ma svoltiamo subito a destra prendendo la sterrata che sale.
La strada attraversa, con andamento quasi pianeggiante, il bosco.
La strada si riduce a mulattiera (difficoltà in caso di fondo bagnato)
e si interrompe spesso nell'attraversare i numerosi ruscelli.
Iniziamo ad incontrare qualche albero abbattuto, ma procedendo la quantità
di alberi è tale da costringerci a procedere faticosamente a piedi.
Questo tratto dura alcune centinaia di metri e termina in un prato antistante
ad alcune case. Attraversiamo il prato e raggiungiamo le case e la strada (km
6,2; località Casanova).
Andiamo a destra e scendiamo ad una sbarra dove troviamo il segnavia FIE .
Svoltiamo a sinistra arrivando velocemente a località Costa Lazzari (km
6,9). Attraversiamo le case uscendo su una strada asfaltata.
Svoltiamo a sinistra e saliamo superando un tornante. Poco dopo (km 7,7) lasciamo
l´asfalto per prendere il sentiero che sale a destra. Superiamo la breve salita
ed arriviamo ad una cascina dove troviamo una strada che seguiamo a destra, in
salita.
Con bel percorso saliamo nel bosco, ad un incrocio andiamo diritti affrontando
una dura, ma breve salita.
Guadagniamo quota con qualche saliscendi, poi saliamo decisi uscendo sull´asfalto
alla cappella di S. Rocco (km 10,1).
Fraconalto è a destra a 300 metri.
Dislivello: 450 m.
Ciclabilità: 95%
Osservazioni: purtroppo presenta un tratto interrotto da alberi caduti,
sarebbe altrimenti un ottimo itinerario.

Ascent from Busalla to Fraconalto

Description.
We depart from the station of Busalla and we go toward Genoa on the government
road. After 200 meters we find to the right street Martyrs of Voltaggio. We
turn and climb steeply up to an intersection where we turn to the left.
We are on the asphalted road that we faithfully follow. At the end of the steep
part we leave to the right the trail sign FIE ( ;
km 1,4).
The road continues above the dark lake of the Busalletta, it reaches the peak
and it goes down reaching the houses of Chiappari (km 4,2).
We don't enter country but we turn to the right immediately taking the dirt
road that climbs. The road crosses, with almost level course, the wood.
The road reduces it to mule-track (difficulty in case of wet ground) and it
often interrupts its crossing the numerous brooks.
We begin to meet some dejected tree, but proceeding the quantity of trees is
such to force us to proceed on foot laboriously.
This stretch lasts some hundred meters and finishes in a lawn before some houses.
We cross the lawn and we reach the houses and the road (km 6,2; place Casanova).
We go to the right and we go down to a bar where we find the trail sign FIE .
We turn to the left quickly arriving to place Costa Lazzari (km 6,9). We cross
the houses going out on a asphalted road.
We turn to the left and climb overcoming an hairpin bend. Shortly after (km
7,7) we leave the asphalt to take the path that climbs to the right. We get
over the brief ascent and we arrive to a farmhouse where we find a road that
we follow to the right in ascent.
With beautiful run climb in the wood, to an intersection we go straight on facing
a hard, but brief ascent.
We gain height with some up and down, then climb going out on the asphalt to
the chapel of S.Rocco (km 10,1).
Fraconalto is to the right to 300 meters.

Observations: unfortunately presents a stretch interrupted by fallen
trees, would be otherwise a good itinerary.
