Dalla chiesa di Voltaggio raggiungiamo la strada provinciale e la seguiamo in salita a destra.
Quando raggiungiamo il primo ponticello
ad arco (ponte S.Giorgio; km 4,2) svoltiamo a destra nella strada che precede il ponte.
Stiamo seguendo l´itinerario 39 al contrario. La strada presenta una ripida rampa in cemento e prosegue più facilmente fino alle case Acquestriate (km 5).
Passiamo davanti alle cascine e proseguiamo in salita raggiungendo un cancello che sbarra la strada (km 5,3). Poco dopo arriviamo ad un incrocio
(km 5,4) dove andiamo a destra.
La strada sale ripida nel bosco. Con qualche tornante guadagniamo faticosamente l'uscita da una valletta laterale. Superiamo un cancello e continuiamo a salire, in diagonale verso destra per entrare nell'alta valle
Acquestriate. La salita si mantiene ripida ed impegnativa fino al chilometro
7,4 dove superiamo una catena.
Con pendenza minore raggiungiamo i ruderi della cascina Castiglione (km 8,1).
Proseguiamo in leggera salita, poi in discesa e di nuovo in salita fino ad
un incrocio (km 9,8).
A sinistra sorge casa Carrosina e di qui proviene l´itinerario 39. Svoltiamo
a destra ed iniziamo a scendere (segnavia FIE ).
Il sentiero presenta subito tratti pietrosi. Arriviamo ad un rio dopo il quale
iniziamo a salire. Qualche tratto particolarmente dissestato costringe a scendere
dalla bici, ma arriviamo comunque rapidamente al passo Dagliola (km 10,7).
La salita del Tobbio è quasi interamente non ciclabile. Possiamo salire in vetta
a piedi in circa mezz'ora (dislivello 240 m circa in 1500 metri). Dislivello: 580 m fino al passo Dagliola. Ciclabilità: 93% fino al passo Dagliola. Asfalto: 38% Osservazioni:

From the church of Voltaggio we reach the provincial road and we follow to the right it in ascent.
When we reach the first arch bridge (bridge S.Giorgio; km 4,2) we turn to the right in the road that precedes the bridge.
We are following contrarily the itinerary 39. The road offers a steep ramp in concrete and continues more easily up to the houses Acquestriate (km 5). We pass in front of the farmhouses and we continue in ascent reaching a gate that the road blocks (km 5,3). Shortly after we arrive to an intersection (km 5,4) where we go to the right.
The road climbs steep in the wood. With some hairping bend we gain laboriously the exit from a side valley. We overcome a gate and we keep on climbing, in diagonal toward right to enter the upper part of the valley Acquestriate. The ascent maintains its steep and binding up to the kilometer 7,4 where we overcome a chain.
With smaller inclination we reach the ruins of the farmhouse Castiglione (km 8,1).
We continue in light ascent, then in descent and again in ascent up an intersection (km 9,8).
To the left house Carrosina rises and from here the itinerary 39 comes. We turn to the right and we begin to go down (trail sign FIE ).
The path immediately offers stone tracts. We arrive later to a brook which begin to climb. Some tract particularly ruined it forces to go down from the bike, but we quickly reach however the pass Dagliola (km 10,7).
The ascent of the Tobbio is almost entirely not cycle. We can climb in peak in around an half of an hour on foot (gradient 240 ms around in 1500 meters). Gradient: 580 ms up to the pass Dagliola. Cycle: 93% up to the pass Dagliola. Asphalt: 38% Observations:
