Partenza: Sarissola è alle porte di Busalla.
Descrizione.
Da Sarissola seguiamo la strada provinciale per Crocefieschi fino ad incontrare un gruppetto di case sulla destra (cartello segnaletico: Inagea; km 3).
Svoltiamo a destra e saliamo trascurando le strade più larghe sulla destra e prendendo la stretta stradina che sale diritta tra le case.
E' una strada molto ripida dove l'asfalto lascia il posto al cemento e prosegue inghiaiata. Lasciata l'ultima casa proseguiamo nel bosco.
La strada presenta rampe impegnative e saliamo faticosamente, un po' in sella un po' a spinta, fino al termine del tratto più ripido (km 4,3).
Proseguiamo alternando tratti pianeggianti ad altri ripidi finchè entriamo in una stradina asfaltata (km 6) che seguiamo a destra.
Dopo un centinaio di metri passiamo di fronte ad una cascina e proseguiamo sul sentiero.
Dobbiamo superare ancora rampe ripide e dissestate fino ad un prato. Superato il prato entriamo sul buon sentiero (km 7) che proviene dal monte Maggio.
Svoltiamo a sinistra uscendo, dopo cinquanta metri, sull´asfalto nei pressi del valico di Martellone.
Seguiamo la strada verso sinistra e raggiungiamo in discesa a Crocefieschi. Entriamo nel paese attraversando il centro, dove incontriamo il segnavia FIE che seguiamo.
Saliamo alla chiesa (km 8,7) e proseguiamo in ripida salita fino ad una seconda chiesa (km 9).
Prendiamo la stradina a destra con fondo in cemento che sale ripida, con tratti sterrati. In corrispondenza di un tornante a destra con fondo in cemento abbandoniamo la strada per prendere un sentiero a sinistra (km 9,7).
In leggera salita ci avviciniamo alle pendici della Lumaca.
Attenzione: da qui in avanti il sentiero presenta tratti esposti talvolta molto pericolosi, non esitate a scendere di sella!
Lasciato l'attacco della Via Ferrata (km 10) il sentiero prosegue a mezzacosta a sinistra fino a raggiungere una selletta con panchina.
Seguiamo il sentiero a sinistra. Dopo un tratto agevole ma da percorrere con estrema attenzione, affrontiamo la ripida e faticosa ascesa attraverso le pendici occidentali della Biurca (scalini, cavi).
Un tratto pianeggiante e pericoloso ci porta alla spalla (km 10,7) dove lasciamo a sinistra il sentiero per Camarza e a destra quello che sale alla Biurca.
Proseguiamo diritti (segnavia FIE ); il sentiero attraversa le pareti nella boscaglia dove il pericoloso salto sottostante è mascherato dalla vegetazione. Con percorso vario arriva infine all'ultima piastra di roccia superata la quale termina il tratto pericoloso (km 11,3. Segnavia FIE ).
Una discesa nel bosco ci porta ad una strada sterrata (km 11,7) che saliamo fino ad una selletta. La buona strada prosegue, con molti saliscendi, nel bosco perdendo quota lentamente. Lasciamo a sinistra la variante 4.1 (km 12,7) e, senza problemi, raggiungiamo la discesa finale che porta all'asfalto ed alla chiesa di Minceto (km 15,9).
Seguiamo la strada asfaltata che attraversa il paese e poi lo lascia. Proseguiamo fino al primo tornante (km 16,4) dove abbandoniamo l'asfalto e prendiamo la sterrata a destra.
La strada non presenta particolari difficoltà. Scendiamo qualche tratto ripido e proseguiamo quasi in piano fino ad incontrare un tratto franato che dobbiamo superare per scendere al guado (km 19,2).
Saliamo su mulattiera erbosa ed entriamo tra le case di Malvasi.
Le difficoltà sono terminate. Scendiamo seguendo l'asfalto. Al termine della discesa (km 20,4) svoltiamo a destra seguendo i segnavia FIE. Attraversiamo il sottopasso autostradale ed andiamo ad attraversare il bel ponte antico che ci porta a Ronco (km 20,8).
Dislivello: in salita 590 m 640 in discesa.
Ciclabilità: 92%
Asfalto: 37%
Osservazioni: presenta un lungo tratto esposto e molto pericoloso alla base delle pareti. Da evitare con neve!
Questo itinerario può essere percorso in senso contrario col vantaggio di migliorare la ciclabilità nel tratto che scende a Inagea e percorrendo in discesa i tratti più faticosi.
Raccordo 4.1. Discesa a Bastia. Sconsigliabile.
Sulla carta mi era sembrato un percorso logico e lineare. Purtroppo non è così.
Percorrendo la strada forestale in direzione di Minceto, avendo ormai lasciato alle spalle il percorso più impegnativo sulle Rocche, incontriamo un segnavia  che va a sinistra (siamo circa al km 12,7).
Svoltiamo nel sentierino che si presenta subito in discesa ma poi diviene quasi pianeggiante con qualche risalita. Il sentiero è stretto, invaso da rami, con tratti franati. Come meglio possiamo arriviamo ai piedi di una breve ma impedalabile salita. Proseguiamo poi con saliscendi finchè raggiungiamo la cresta sovrastante il paese di Pietrafaccia. Per un po' il sentiero prosegue più ciclabile. poi inizia a scendere più ripido per terminare alla base dell rocce della Bastia. Saliamo verso destra l'ultimo ripido tratto che porta al Valico di Bastia (km 3).

Description.
From Sarissola we follow the provincial road for Crocefieschi up to meet a some houses on the right (descriptive poster: Inagea; km 3).
We turn and we climb neglecting the widest roads on the right and take the hold narrow road that climbs right among the houses.
It's a very steep road where the asphalt leaves the place to the concrete and continues graveled. Left the last house we continue in the wood.
The road offers binding ramps and we laboriously climbs, some in saddle some to push, up to the term of the steeper tract (km 4,3).
We continue alternating level tracts to others steep until we enter an asphalted narrow road (km 6) that we follow to the right.
After hundred meters we pass in front of a farmhouse and we continue on the path.
We have to overcome steep and ruined ramps up to a lawn. Overcome the lawn we enter on the good path (km 7) that it comes from the May mountain.
We turn to the left going out, after fifty meters, on the tarmac near the pass of Martellone.
We follow the road toward left and we reach in descent to Crocefieschi. We enter the country crossing the center, where we meet the trail sign FIE  that we follow.
We climb to the church (km 8,7) and continue in steep ascent up a second church (km 9).
We take to the right the narrow road with bottom in concrete that climbs steep, with dirt tracts. In correspondence of a hairping bend to the right with bottom in concrete we leave the road to take to the left a path (km 9,7).
In light ascent we approach us to the slopes of the Lumaca.
Attention: from here in before the path presents very dangerous and exposed tracts; not wave to go down of saddles!
Left the start of the Via Ferrata (km 10) the path continues to the left to halfway of the hill up to reach a pass with bench.
We follow to the left the path. After an easy tract but to cross with extreme attention, we face the steep and fatiguing ascent through the western slopes of the Biurca (stairs, cables).
A level and dangerous tract brings us to the shoulder (km 10,7) where we leave to the left the path for Camarza and to the right that that climbs to the Biurca.
We continue straight (trail sign FIE ); the path crosses the walls in the brushwood where the dangerous underlying jump is disguised as the vegetation. With various run it finally reaches the last plate of old rock which finishes the dangerous tract (km 11,3. Trail sign FIE ).
A descent in the wood brings us to a dirt road (km 11,7) that we climb up to a pass. The good road continues, with many ups and downs, in the wood slowly losing height. We leave to the left the variation 4.1 (km 12,7) and, without problems, we reach the final descent that brings to the asphalt and to the church of Minceto (km 15,9).
We follow the asphalted road that it crosses the country and then it leaves the houses. We continue up to the first hairping bend (km 16,4) where we leave the asphalt and we take to the right the dirt road.
The road doesn't offers particular difficulties. We go down some steep tract and we almost continue in plain to meet a tract slipped that we have to overcome for going down to the ford (km 19,2).
We climb on grassy mule-track and we enter among the houses of Malvasi.
Difficulties are finished. We go down following the asphalt. At the term of the descent (km 20,4) we turn to the right following the trail signs FIE. We cross the motorway underpass and we go to cross the beautiful ancient bridge that brings us to Ronco (km 20,8).
Gradient: in ascent 590 ms, 640 descent.
Cycle: 92%
Asphalt: 37%
Observations: presents a long exposed and very dangerous tract at the base of the walls. To avoid with snow!
This itinerary can be crossed in contrary sense with the advantage to improve the cycle in the tract that goes down to Inagea and crossing in descent the most fatiguing tracts.
