Alle prime case di Bromia, prima del ponte per chi provenga da Montoggio, svoltiamo a sinistra entrando in una stretta strada asfaltata (km 0; indicazioni).
La strada costeggia il torrente ed alterna salite a discese attraversando più volte il torrente.
La strada è asfaltata tranne un tratto di 800 metri. Lasciamo a destra le poche case di Rione ed incontriamo un bivio (km 4,4) dove andiamo a destra, in discesa.
La strada continua alternando salite e discese. Dopo l'ennesimo ponte, con salita più ripida, raggiungiamo le case di Serre (km 7) e proseguiamo su sterrato.
Superando tratti asfaltati che si alternano a tratti sterrati incontriamo le case di
Tinello e di Pezza.
La strada costeggia Pentema passando sotto alle case. Proseguiamo in salita raggiungendo un lavatoio (km 10,8). Non entriamo in paese ma continuiamo a salire sull'asfalto.
Quando incontriamo un bivio
(km 11,3) svoltiamo a sinistra e scendiamo ad una piazzetta all'ingresso della parte alta del paese (km 11,9).
Di qui parte una mulattiera (segnavia FIE ) che seguiamo, subito in ripida salita.
Un po' in sella e molto a spinta seguiamo la mulattiera che attraversa la montagna e termina ad una chiesetta (Madonna della
Guardia; km 13,6) posta sul crinale. Dislivello: 710 m. Ciclabilità: 94% Osservazioni: Asfalto: 60%

At the first houses of Bromia, before the bridge for people who comes from Montoggio, we turn to the left entering a narrow tarmac road (km 0; indications).
The road skirts the stream and alternate slopes to descents crossing more times the stream.
The road is tarmac except a stretch of 800 meters. We leave to the right the few houses of Rione and we meet a fork (km 4,4) where we go to the right, in descent.
The road continues alternating slopes and descents. After the nth bridge, with steep ascent, we reach the houses of Serre (km 7) and we continue on unsurfaced road.
Overcoming stretches asphalted that they are alternated to dirt stretches we meet the houses of Tinello and Pezza.
The road skirts Pentema passing the houses down. We continue in ascent reaching a wash-tube (km 10,8). We don't enter country but we keep on climbing on the asphalt.
When we meet a fork (km 11,3) we turn to the left and we go down to a square to the entry of the high part of the country (km 11,9).
From here start a mule-track (trail sign FIE ) that we follow, immediately in steep ascent.
Some in saddle and very to push we follow the mule-track that it crosses the mountain and it finishes to a little church (Madonna della Guardia; km 13,6) sets on the ridge. Gradient: 710 ms. Cycle: 94% Observations: Tarmac: 60%
