(sconsigliabile) Discesa dal monte Penello ad Acquasanta
sul metanodotto. Dalla vetta raggiungiamo la strada e la seguiamo verso sud.
Dopo circa 700 metri la strada termina all´incrocio col metanodotto. Svoltiamo
a destra e seguiamo il metanodotto. Pochi metri dopo aver superato una bella
casella in pietra incontriamo il sentiero FIE che collega la Baiarda con la
sorgente Fontanabuona ( ; km 1). Seguiamo questo sentiero
che raggiunge la cresta a destra. Quando il sentiero lascia la traccia del
metanodotto lo abbandoniamo e scendiamo direttamente lungo la traccia. Scendiamo
sulla massima pendenza evitando i muretti di contenimento (oppure li saltiamo).
Dopo circa 600 metri in questo modo dobbiamo lasciare il metanodotto in quanto
qui è coperto di grandi massi. Scendiamo per tracce di sentiero, sempre
restando vicini alle paline del tracciato, con forti difficoltà. Arriviamo
ad un pianetto (km 2,3). Qui lasciamo il metanodotto e scendiamo sullo stretto
sentiero leggermente verso sinistra. Arriviamo ad un traliccio ENEL (km 3,3)
dove il sentiero si allarga. Scendiamo sulla stradina ed incontriamo il percorso
delle Lische Alte dove andiamo a destra. In leggera salita arriviamo ad incrociare
un sentiero FIE che seguiamo a sinistra. Perdiamo quota con 8 tornanti e usciamo
sull´asfalto al valico Case Colla (km 5). Scendendo a destra raggiungiamo
la stazione FS e poi il Santuario (km 6,7).
(unadvisable) Come down by the Penello mountain to Acquasanta on the pipeline. From the peak we reach the road and we follow it toward south. Later around 700 meters the road finishes at the cross with the pipeline. We turn to the right and we follow the pipeline. Few meters after having overcome a beautiful box in stone we meet the path FIE that links the Baiarda with the spring Fontanabuona ( ; km 1). We follow this path that reaches to the right the ridge. When the path leaves the trace of the pipeline we give up it and we directly go down along the trace. We go down on the maximum inclination avoiding the little walls of containment (or we jump them). Later around 600 meters in this way we have to leave the pipeline because here it is covered with great rocks. We go down for traces of path, always staying near to the ranging rods of the layout, with hard difficulty. We arrive to a plain (km 2,3). Here we leave the pipeline and we slightly go down on the narrow path toward left. We arrive to a pylon ENEL (km 3,3) where the path widens. We go down on the narrow road and we meet the run of the Lische Alte where we go to the right. In light ascent we arrive to cross a path FIE that we follow to the left. We lose altitude with 8 hairping bends and we go out on the asphalt to the pass Case Colla (km 5). Going down to the right we reach the station FS and then the Sanctuary (km 6,7).
