Da Creto a Casella

Partenza: Creto è costituito da alcune case e qualche trattoria situate sul valico stradale raggiungibile per asfalto da Montoggio o da Struppa (periferia genovese). E' raggiungibile con l'itinerario 11 e dall'itinerario 14.
Descrizione.
Dal valico di Creto scendiamo verso nord seguendo la strada provinciale. Dopo circa 400 metri, prima di una locanda, svoltiamo a sinistra in una stradina asfaltata. Saliamo brevemente e la strada diviene sterrata e porta ad un incrocio (km 0,8).
Svoltiamo a sinistra superando la sbarra. La strada sale con pendenza crescente. Il fondo in cemento nei tratti più ripidi ci consente di restare in sella fino al termine della salita.
Passiamo nei pressi di un gruppo di valvole ed usciamo sulla vetta del monte Alpe costituita da una lunga cresta (km 2,4).
Attraversiamo la cresta e scendiamo ad una selletta dove incontriamo il segnavia AV AV e b32. Scendiamo a sinistra seguendo il segnavia.
Il sentiero attraversa il versante del monte Carossino, incrocia il sentiero proveniente dal Righi (FIE r2) e prosegue uscendo su una selletta.
Lasciamo a destra i segnavia e proseguiamo sul filo di cresta. Dopo una cinquantina di metri scendiamo a destra e riprendiamo il sentiero che passa vicinissimo.
Con facile percorso il sentiero taglia il versante e raggiunge l´asfalto alla Cappelletta del Sella (km 4).
Seguiamo l´asfalto per lasciarlo quasi subito andando dritti alla curva. Affrontiamo una salita abbastanza impegnativa, poi il sentiero si mantiene a mezza costa alternando salite e discesa con qualche tratto molto stretto.
Scendiamo un tratto molto ripido a cui segue un tratto pianeggiante prima di iniziare la ripida discesa che conduce ad una trattorabile (km 6,55).
Il ramo di sinistra scende a Crocetta, noi svoltiamo a destra. La stradina si restringe a sentiero che, con una rampa non ciclabile, porta ad una casa (km 6,85).
Senza difficoltà seguiamo la strada che poco dopo diviene asfaltata. Ad un bivio (km 7,5) svoltiamo a destra. Con veloce discesa arriviamo sulla sponda dello Scrivia e costeggiamo il fiume fino ad incrociare la strada provinciale (km 9,9). Casella è a destra a 500 metri.
Dislivello: 290 m in salita e 500 in discesa.

Description.
From the pass of Creto we go down toward north following the provincial road. Later around 400 meters, before an inn, we turn to the left in a narrow tarmac road. We climb shortly and the road becomes a dirt one and leads to an intersection (km 0,8).
We turn to the left overcoming the bar. The road climbs with increasing inclination. The bottom in concrete in the steeper stretches it allows us to stay in saddle up to the term of the ascent.
We pass near a group of valves and we go out on the peak of the Alpe mountain constituted by a long ridge (km 2,4).
We cross the ridge and we go down to a saddleback where we meet the trail sign AV AV and b32. We go down to the left following the trail sign.
The path crosses the side of the Carossino mountain, it crosses the path coming from the Lines (FIE r2) and it continues going out on a saddleback.
We leave to the right the trail signs and we continue on the thread of ridge. After about fifty meters we go down to the right and take the near path.
With easy run the path cuts the side and reaches the asphalt to the Cappella of the Saddle (km 4).
We follow the asphalt to leave almost immediately it going right at the curve. We face an enough binding ascent, then the path stays to hillsude alternating slopes and descent with some very narrow stretches.
We descend a very steep stretch to which follows a level stretch before beginning the steep descent that leads to a forest road (km 6,55).
The branch of left goes down to Crocetta, we turn to the right. The narrow road narrows its to path that, with a non cycle ramp, leads to a house (km 6,85).
Without difficulty we follow the road that shortly after becomes tarmac. To a fork (km 7,5) we turn to the right. With fast descent we arrive on the bank of the Scrivia and skirt the river up to cross the provincial road (km 9,9). Casella is to the right to 500 meters.
