Partenza: Voltri, ultimo quartiere a ponente di Genova.
Descrizione.
Partendo dalla piazza della Chiesa di Voltri ci dirigiamo verso ponente. Dopo
alcune centinaia di metri, in corrispondenza del capolinea del bus 1, dopo le
ultime case e prima del ponte, svoltiamo a destra in via alle Fabbriche. Superiamo un ripido viadotto
scendendo dalla parte opposta.
Proseguiamo in piano costeggiando il rio Cerusa. A km 1,4 circa lasciamo la strada
svoltando a sinistra in via alla Brigna ed attraversando un ponticello.
La strada prosegue molto stretta ed in ripida salita. Saliamo a tornanti trascurando
le deviazioni laterali e seguendo sempre via alla Brigna. A km 4 incontriamo
un bivio nettissimo (cartello con scritto ANPI, segnaletica a sinistra per Campenave);
qui andiamo a destra in salita. Dopo 300 m incontriamo un altro altro bivio dove
andiamo a sinistra raggiungendo dopo pochi metri una villetta che costeggiamo,
ora su sterrato.
Dopo circa 900 m attraversiamo il cortile di una casa proseguendo oltre, in piano,
fino al cancello del gruppo di Case Brigna (km 5,5).
Saliamo a destra aggirando gli edifici per proseguire in piano e poi in discesa.
Il sentiero sale leggermente e scende ad incrociare il segnavia FIE 
(km 6,2) che seguiamo a sinistra per lasciarlo dopo 30 metri.
La discesa prosegue su una stradina sterrata. Dopo un tornante lasciamo a destra due sterrate (sulla seconda scende la variante 4.1; km 6,9) e continuiamo la discesa che diviene asfaltata.
Lasciamo a destra una sterrata e raggiungiamo un bivio (km 7,6; a destra variante 4.2)
dove continuiamo a scendere fino alle case sparse di Campenave
(km 7,9). Andiamo a destra e raggiungiamo l'inizio della crosa mattonata che scende
a Crevari (segnavia FIE ,
km 8).
Con facile discesa passiamo tra le case e raggiungiamo un bivio (km 8,4); a destra raggiungeremmo
il vicino piazzale della corriera, svoltiamo invece a sinistra. La crosa prosegue
in mezzo alle case ed inizia a discendere ripida e con molti scalini di varia
difficoltà.
Usciamo su una strada asfaltata e raggiungiamo la chiesa (km 8,9). Scendiamo raggiungendo
la strada principale che seguiamo a sinistra fino ad uscire sull'Aurelia (km 10) e Voltri (chiesa; km 10,6).

Osservazioni: breve e divertente
Da Campenave esistono diversi sentieri che scendono verso il mare. Qui ne propongo uno. Un altro è percorso dall'itinerario 39 del Beigua.
Variante 4.1. febbraio 2008. Nettamente più difficile dell'itinerario principale.
Al bivio (km 6,9; km 0) svoltiamo a destra entrando in una stradina sterrata privata. Lasciamo a sinistra una diramazione, effettuiamo un tornante e scendiamo ripidamente.
Quando la strada passa sotto ai cavi dell'elettrodotto (km 0,3), pochi metri prima di una casa sulla sinistra, lasciamo la strada e svoltiamo a destra in un sentiero.
Il percorso è segnato da pennellate di pittura gialla. Il sentiero, disturbato da rami e foglie, ha un andamento in leggera discesa ed attraversa il bosco e qualche canale raggiungendo una spalla (km 0,6).
Affrontiamo una discesa ripida con antichi scalini di pietra e stretti tornanti. Il sentiero raggiunge il torrente e prosegue sulla sponda sinistra, sempre difficile.
Dopo aver raggiunto le rocce del fiume (km 1,1) proseguiamo con minori difficoltà mentre il sentiero si allarga e si allontana dall'alveo.
A due incroci ravvicinati (km 1,4) teniamo la destra e scendiamo ad un bivio (km 1,6) dove ancora andiamo a destra scendendo a guadare il rio Vesima.
Proseguiamo sul largo sentiero che raggiunge una zona di prati ed una strada agricola (km 2). Seguiamo a sinistra la strada che scende ad un grande rudere sotto al viadotto autostradale (km 2,1).
Qui incontriamo l'itinerario 20 e svoltiamo a sinistra salendo su asfalto fino ad un incrocio (km 2,2).
Scendiamo passando nei pressi della chiesa ed uscendo sull'Aurelia (km 2,6). Ciclabilità: 91%
Loop Voltri-Campenave-Voltri

Description.
Starting from the square of the Church of Voltri we directs toward west. After
some hundred meters, in correspondence of the terminal of the bus 1, after the
last houses and before the bridge, we turn to the right.
We get over a steep viaduct going down on the opposite part.
We continue in plain skirting the brook Cerusa. At km 1,4 around we leave the
road turning to the left in the street alla Brigna and crossing a bridge.
The road continues very narrow and in steep ascent. Climb on hairpin bends disregarding
the side deviations and always following street alla Brigna. At km 4,2 we meet
a clean fork (poster with writing ANPI, system of signs to the left for Campenave);
we go to the right here ascending. After 300 ms we meet another other fork where
go to the left reaching, after few meters, an hut that skirt, now on dirt.
Later around 900 ms we cross the courtyard of a house continuing over, in plain,
up to the gate of a group of buildings (km 5,8).
Climb to the right revolving the buildings to continue in plain and then in
descent.
We meet numerous deviations but stay on the main run, always enough evident.
The descent continues becoming tarmac up to lead to the shed houses of Campenave
(km 8,1). We go to the right and we reach the beginning of the paved mule-track
that it goes down to Crevari (trail sign FIE ,
km 8,2).
With easy descent we get over the houses and we reach a fork; to the right we
would reach the near square of the bus, we turn to the left instead.
The mule trak continues among the houses and it begins to come down steep and
with many stairs of vary difficulty.
We go out on a tarmac road and we reach the church (km 9,2). We go down reaching
the main road that quickly goes down to Voltri (km 11,2).

Observations: brief and amusing
From Campenave different paths that go down toward the sea exist. I propose two of them.
Varying 4.1. February 2008. Clearly more difficulty of the principal itinerary.
To the fork (km 6,9; km 0) we turn to the right entering a unmetalled narrow road. We leave to the left a ramification, we effect a hairping bend and we steeply go down.
When the road passes under to the cables of the power line (km 0,3), few meters before a house on the left, we leave the road and turn to the right in a path.
The run is marked by brushstrokes of yellow painting. The path, disturbed by branches and leaves, it has a course in light descent and it crosses the wood and some channel reaching a shoulder (km 0,6).
We face a steep descent with ancient stone stairs and narrow switcback. The path reaches the stream and continues on the left bank, always difficult.
After having reached the rocks of the river (km 1,1) we continue with smaller difficulties while the path widens and move away from the river bed.
To two brought closer intersections (km 1,4) we hold the right and we go down to a fork (km 1,6) where we go down again to the right to ford the brook Vesima.
We continue on the wide path that reaches a zone of lawns and an agricultural road (km 2). We follow to the left the road that goes down to a great ruin under the motorway viaduct (km 2,1).
Here we meet the itinerary 20 and we turn to the left climbing on asphalt up to an intersection (km 2,2).
We go down passing near the church and going out on the Aurelia (km 2,6). Cycle: 91%
Varying 4.2. February 2008. Easier than the principal itinerary.
To the fork (km 7,6; km 0) we turn to the right and we follow the narrow road that, after the first unmetalled meters, it goes down asphalted to the entry of a house where the asphalt leaves the place to clatters (km 0,2). The "crosa" goes down among sparse houses and meets with Inferior street of the Olba that, follows to the right, it brings us to a country (km 0,5; Borgo Nuovo).
We turn to the right here and we follow the alley in light slope that goes out of the houses. On dirt road we reach a crossroads (km 0,6) where we continue to the left on the path.
The wide path goes down to cross an unmetalled narrow road that we cross continuing the descent on bottom in cement.
We pass near sparse houses and cultivation following the brick crosa that goes down and it finishes on an asphalted road (km 1,6). Going to the left we could reach Voltri. We go to the right instead, in common with the itinerary 20.
The road climbs and becomes a crosa that goes down. We neglect to the right the ramifications and we continue on the crosa that, with ample stairs, it skirts the highway and it passes below (km 2,1).
We continue on the mule-track that keeps on going down up to finish on the asphalt (km 2,7) near Vesima.
We go down to the left going out on the Aurelia (km 2,9). Cycle: 100%
