Discesa dal Santuario di Montallegro a Coreglia

Partenza: il Santuario è raggiungibile con la funivia o con la strada asfaltata che sale da Rapallo o da Coreglia. E' raggiungibile inoltre utilizzando la mulattiera di crinale dal Passo della Forcella (itinerario 1) o l'itinerario 2 da Rapallo.
Percorso.
Partiamo dal sagrato del Santuario e lo costeggiamo salendo alcuni scalini per raggiungere l'inizio delle mulattiere.
Prendiamo la mulattiera in leggera salita sulla sinistra e la percorriamo facilmente fino al passo di Canevale (km 0,5) dove svoltiamo a destra ed attraversiamo l'intaglio sul crinale (sentiero Chighizola, segnavia FIE r5).
Percorriamo una buona mulattiera lastricata che scende in diagonale verso sinistra, interrotta da qualche albero.
La mulattiera termina con due tornanti sull'asfalto (km 2,2) sopra alla chiesa di Canevale. Seguiamo a sinistra l'asfalto ma lo lasciamo dopo pochi metri per scendere sulla scalinata che porta al sagrato della chiesa (km 2,3).
Di fronte alla chiesa prosegue la mulattiera che inizia con una scala. Di nuovo sull'asfalto lo seguiamo lungamente scendendo fino a quando a destra (km 4,5) notiamo una mulattiera. La prendiamo e scendiamo rapidamente alla strada asfaltata.
Proseguiamo sull'asfalto fino a quando, subito dopo un tornante a destra, notiamo a sinistra un poco evidente sentiero (km 4,3). Lo prendiamo e scdendiamo con facili scalini per ritrovare la strada.
Attraversiamo e proseguiamo sulla mulattiera che termina sull'asfalto (km 4,5). Proseguiamo sull'asfalto fino al bivio (km 4,7) dove andiamo a sinistra e prendiamo la strada asfaltata che corre in riva destra del torrente.
Raggiungiamo la strada che sale al valico della Forcella (km 5,8) ed andiamo a destra raggiungendo il Municipio di Coreglia (km 6).
Dislivello: -580 m.
Ciclabilità: >99%.
Asfalto: 62%
Osservazioni: troppo asfalto per essere una soluzione valida.

Descent from Montallegro Sanctuary to Coreglia

Departure: the Sanctuary is attainable by the cableway or by the asphalted road that climbs from Rapallo or from Coreglia. It's attainable besides using the mule-track of ridge from the Pass of the Fork (itinerary 1) or the itinerary 2 from Rapallo.
Run.
We depart from the church square of the Sanctuary and we skirt it climbing some stairs to reach the beginning of the mule-tracks.
We take the mule-track in light ascent on the left and we easily cross it up to the pass of Canevale (km 0,5) where we turn to the right and we cross the carving on the ridge (path Chighizola, trail sign FIE r5).
We cross a good paved mule-track that goes down in diagonal toward left, interrupted by some tree.
The mule-track finishes with two hairping bends on the asphalt (km 2,2) above to the church of Canevale. We follow to the left the asphalt but we leave it after few meters to go down on the stairway that brings to the church square (km 2,3).
In front of the church continues the mule-track that begins with a staircase. Again on the asphalt we longly follow it going down up to when to the right (km 4,5) we see a mule-track. We take it and we quickly go down to the asphalted road. We continue on the asphalted road up to the fork (km 4,9) where we go to the left and the asphalted road that races in right shore of the stream take.
We reach the road that climbs to the pass of the Fork (km 6) and go reaching to the right the Town hall of Coreglia (km 6,2).
Gradient: -580 ms.
Cycle: >99%.
Asphalt: 62%
Observations: too much asphalt to be a valid solution.
