Aggiornamento: 1/2012 Partenza: il Santuario è posto sul valico che separa la Val Petronio dalla Val di Vara. Percorso.
Dal piazzale del Santuario aggiriamo a destra l'edificio e prendiamo la strada asfaltata che sale con un tornante.
Stiamo seguendo al contrario l'itinerario 3 e l'itinerario 11. Troviamo i segnavia e FIE e percorriamo la strada che diventa sterrata e prosegue con moderati saliscendi.
Ad un bivio (km 2) prendiamo la strada a sinistra (segnavia comunale ). Lasciamo a destra un'altra strada e percorriamo qualche metro su asfalto. La strada torna sterrata e prosegue fino a raggiungere (km 3,7) la strada asfaltata per Missano.
Svoltiamo a sinistra e scendiamo sulla strada fino ad una chiesa. Appena superata la chiesa svoltiamo (km
4) a destra imboccando una discesa in cemento.
Dopo alcuni scalini entriamo su una mulattiera, passiamo a fianco di alcune case (Connio Superiore) e scendiamo ad un bivio (km 4,3) dove lasciamo il segnavia che prosegue e svoltiamo a destra, sempre sul segnavia .
Attraversiamo qualche ruscello ed entriamo su una strada asfaltata (km 4,6) che seguiamo.
Ad un bivio (km
5) svoltiamo a destra e seguiamo una strada in cemento. Prima di raggiungere una casa svoltiamo a destra nel sentiero.
Attraversiamo la boscaglia e raggiungiamo una strada sterrata (km
5,4) che diventa quasi subito asfaltata. Al primo bivio svoltiamo a destra e raggiungiamo l'inizio di un sentiero (km 5,7; bivio non molto visibile) a sinistra.
Dopo la prima parte in discesa il sentiero prosegue in piano o con qualche saliscendi. Trascuriamo i sentieri che scendono e restiamo sul nostro che ci porta ad incrociare il sentiero diretto (km 6,7) che arriva dal monte Alpe.
Proseguiamo diritti fino all'incrocio nei pressi della chiesa (km 6,9).
Scendiamo a sinistra e raggiungiamo la SP523 e Castiglione Chiavarese (km 7).

Updating: 1/2012 Departure: the Sanctuary is set on the pass that separates the Val Petronio from the Val di Vara. Run.
From the square of the Sanctuary we revolve to the right the building and we take the asphalted road that it climbs with a hairping bend.
We are following contrarily the itinerary 3 and the itinerary 11. We find the trail signs and FIE and we cross the road that becomes an unmetalled one and it continues with moderate ups and downs.
To a fork (km 2) we take to the left the road (municipal trail sign ). We leave to the right another road and we cross some meter on asphalt. The road returns unmetalled one and continues up to reach (km 3,7) the asphalt road to Missano.
We turn to the left and we go down on the road as far as a church. Just overcome the church we turn (km 4) to the right taking a descent in concrete.
After some stairs we enter on a mule-track, we pass beside some houses (Connio Superiore) and we go down to a fork (km 4,3) where we leave the trail sign that it continues and we turn to the right, always on the trail sign .
We cross some brook and we enter on an asphalted road (km 4,6) that we follow.
To a fork (km 5) we turn to the right and we follow a road in concrete. Before reaching a house we turn to the right in the path.
We cross the brushwood and we reach a dirt road (km 5,4) that it becomes almost immediately asphalted. To the first fork we turn to the right and we reach the beginning of a path (km 5,7; few visible fork) to the left.
After the first part in descent the path continues in plain or with some ups and downs. We neglect the paths that go down and we stay on ours that brings us to cross the direct path (km 6,7) that it arrives from the Alpe mountain.
We continue straight to the intersection near the church (km 6,9).
We go down to the left and we reach the SP523 and Castiglione Chiavarese (km 7). Gradient: -390 ms Cycle: >99% Asphalt (or concrete): 16% Observations:
