Dal rifugio raggiungiamo la strada e la seguiamo in salita a sinistra, in comune con l'itinerario 14.
La strada sale alternando tratti ripidi ad altri pianeggianti e raggiunge un bivio in corrispondenza di una sella (km 1,8) dove il segnavia sale a sinistra per scavalcare un cocuzzolo.
Al termine della discesa confluiamo su una pista forestale e svoltiamo a sinistra. Saliamo e proseguiamo sui segnavia
raggiungendo un incrocio (km 2,9) dove da destra proviene l'itinerario
13.
Andiamo obliquando a sinistra seguendo i segnavia. Il sentiero scende piuttosto ripido e porta
ad una bella zona di pini.
Ad un bivio lasciamo a destra il segnavia (km 3,5) e l'itinerario 14 e svoltiamo a sinistra (segnavia
).
La pista scende e prosegue con qualche saliscendi
per un tratto non lungo. In discesa in un profondo toboga scendiamo a ritrovare l'itinerario ed usciamo su un bel prato. Lasciamo a sinistra il percorso 14 e proseguiamo diritti (km 5,6; segnavia ) sul tracciato che ora è una strada.
Perdiamo quota facilmente e raggiungiamo il fondovalle poco prima di cascina Caramellina
(km 7,2).
Seguiamo a destra la strada che costeggia l'edificio e raggiunge un ponticello. Superiamo la sbarra ed entriamo nella larga carrozzabile sterrata che seguiamo.
La strada diviene asfaltata e termina su una strada maggiore (km 10,1) dove svoltiamo a sinistra raggiungendo la stazione ferroviaria di Ferrania (km 10,6). Dislivello: -530 m. Ciclabilità: >99% Asfalto: 11% Osservazioni:

Updating: 11/2007 Start: the shelter (normally closed) is reached by the itinerary 14. Description.
From the shelter we reach the road and we follow to the left it in ascent, in common with the itinerary 14.
The road climbs alternating steep tracts to others level and reaches a fork in correspondence of a saddle (km 1,8) where the trailsign climbs to the left to climb over a summit.
At the end of the descent we meet on a forest track and we turn to the left. We climb and we continue on the trail signs reaching an intersection (km 2,9) where from right it comes the itinerary 13.
We go to the left following the trail signs. The path goes down rather steep and brings to a beautiful zone of pines.
To a fork we leave to the right the trailsign (km 3,5) and the itinerary 14 and we turn to the left (trail sign
).
The footstep goes down and continues with some ups and downs for a non long tract. In descent in a depth toboggan we go down to find again the trailsign ed we go out on a beautiful lawn. We leave to the left the run 14 and we continue straight (km 5,6; trailsign ) on the layout that is a road now.
We easily lose height and we reach the valley floor just before farmhouse Caramellina (km 7,2).
We follow to the right the road that skirts the building and it reaches a bridge. We overcome the bar and we enter the wide carriage dirt road that we follow.
The road becomes asphalted and it finishes on a greater road (km 10,1) where we turn to the left reaching the railway station of Ferrania (km 10,6). Gradient: -530 ms. Cycle: >99% Asphalt: 11% Observations:
