Discesa da Colle del Melogno a Bardineto

Partenza: il Colle del Melogno è attraversato dalla strada asfaltata che collega Calizzano con Finale. E' raggiunto dall'itinerario 6 del Vadese; dall'itinerario 2 del Loanese; dall'itinerario 6 del finalese. E' anche raggiungibile utilizzando l'itinerario 9.
Descrizione.
Dal Colle del Melogno prendiamo la sterrata che sale e passa dietro al ristorante (segnavia AV, g45). La strada forestale attraversa la foresta demaniale salendo con pendenza abbastanza sostenuta. Ad un bivio (km 1,1) andiamo diritto e saliamo ad un secondo bivio dove andiamo a destra raggiungendo un cancello (km 1,8). Superiamo il cancello e seguiamo la strada pianeggiante che esce dal bosco in una radura con casa forestale e fonte (km 3,1).
Svoltiamo a destra in una stradina minore che sale (segnavia FIE g45 e g42). La strada attraversa lungamente la foresta con molte salite e discese, brevi ma spesso ripide.
Incontriamo numerosi incroci e seguiamo l'utile segnavia. Ad un ennesimo bivio (km 5,9) lasciamo il segnavia g45 che prosegue e svoltiamo a sinistra sul segnavia g42. Al bivio successivo seguiamo sempre il segnavia che va a destra e raggiungiamo una zona pianeggiante nella foresta (km 7,6; Cian dell'Adè) dove svoltiamo nettamente a sinistra (segnavia e segnalazioni).
La strada sale ancora e poi inizia una ripida discesa che ci porta ad un bivio in località monte Mezzano (km 8,4).
Scendiamo a destra perdendo quota con ripidi tornanti. La strada si dirige verso un canalone e termina (km 9).
Scendiamo a sinistra seguendo un ripidissimo e scavato sentiero che precipita fino a guadare il canalone.
La discesa prosegue sulla riva opposta, sempre ripida. Il cattivo sentiero si allarga a mulattiera che diviene sempre migliore. Usciamo dalla foresta attraversando un bosco di castagni e raggiungiamo un ponticello di legno (km 10,2).
Continuiamo senza difficoltà, confluiamo in una stradina che seguiamo a destra raggiungendo le prime case e l'asfalto (km 10,9).
Raggiungiamo i vicini ruderi del castello e scendiamo attraverso le stradine del centro storico per raggiungere la chiesa di Bardineto (km 11,2).
Dislivello: 330 m in salita e 650 in discesa.
Ciclabilità: quasi 100%
Asfalto: 4%
Osservazioni: consigliabile solo in questo senso.

Description.
From the Melogno Pass we take the dirt road that climbs and it passes behind the restaurant (trail sign AV, g45). The forest road crosses the forest climbing with inclination enough sustained.
In light descent we reach an area pic-nic (km 3; source, wood house). As far as here we have followed contrarily here the itinerary 13 of the Loanese.
We turn to the right in a narrow smaller road that climbs (trail sign FIE g45 and g42). The road longly crosses the forest with a lot of slopes and descents, brief but often steep.
We meet numerous intersections and we follow the useful trail sign. To a nth fork (km 5,9) we leave the trail sign g45 thet it continues and we turn to the left on the trail sign g42 . At the following fork we always follow the trail sign that goes to the right and we reaches a level zone in the forest (km 7,6; Cian of the Adè) where we turn to the left clearly (trail sign and signalings).
The road climbs again and it begins a steep descent that leads to a fork in place Mezzano mountain (km 8,4).
We go down to the right losing height with steep hairpin bends. The road directs toward a gully and finishes (km 9).
We go down to the left following a steep and dug path that falls up to ford the gully.
The descent continues on the opposite shore, always steep. The bad path widens to mule-track that it always becomes best. We go out of the forest crossing a wood of chestnut trees and we reach a wood bridge (km 10,2).
We continue without difficulty, we meet in a narrow road that we follow to the right reaching the first houses and the asphalt (km 10,9).
We reach the near ruins of the castle and we go down through the lanes of the historical center to reach the church of Bardineto (km 11,2).
Gradient: 330 ms in ascent and 650 in descent.
Cycle: almost 100%
Tarmac: 4%
Observations: advisable only in this sense.
