Partenza: Priero è situato sulla strada che collega Ceva con Montezemolo e Savona.
Descrizione.
Dal centro di Priero andiamo in direzione est e raggiungiamo la strada provinciale. Attraversiamo l´incrocio e prendiamo la strada per Castelnuovo.
Seguiamo la strada asfaltata che sale finchè arriviamo quasi a Castelnuovo. Prima di superare il colle che porta al paese svoltiamo in una strada a destra (km 6,4).
La strada è ancora asfaltata per un po' e poi diventa un'ampia sterrata.
La seguiamo fedelmente lasciando a sinistra la strada per una cava all'unico bivio e proseguiamo con qualche facile salita raggiungendo il confine regionale in corrispondenza di una grande croce (km 9,6).
La strada continua la sua salita e raggiunge il crinale al Colle delle Calcinere (km 11) dove incrociamo il sentiero di crinale e l'itinerario 20.
Seguiamo la strada che scende rapidamente. Quando arriviamo alle case di Massimina (km 13) ritroviamo l´asfalto.
La discesa prosegue anche piuttosto ripida e porta a Murialdo Piano (km 15,8), non lontano dal Municipio.
Dislivello: 450 m in salita e 390 m in discesa.

Osservazioni: utile collegamento col sentiero di crinale, valido sia da Murialdo sia da Castelnuovo di Ceva.

Description.
From the center of Priero we go to east direction and we reach the provincial road. We cross the intersection and we take the road for Castelnuovo.
We follow the tarmac road that climbs as far as we almost reach Castelnuovo. Before overcoming the pass that leads to the country we turn to the right in a road (km 6,4).
The road still is asphalted for a little then an ample dirt road it becomes.
We faithfully follow it leaving to the left the road for a querry at the only fork and go on with some easy ascent reaching the regional border in correspondence of a great cross (km 9,6).
The road continues its ascent and reaches the ridge at Calcinere Pass (km 11) where we cross the path of ridge and the itinerary 20.
We follow the road that quickly goes down. When we arrive at the houses of Massimina (km 13) we find again the tarmac.
The descent also continues rather steep and leads to Murialdo Piano (km 15,8), not far from Town hall.
Gradient: 450 ms in ascent and 390 ms in descent.

Observations: profit connection with the path of ridge, valid both from Murialdo and from Castelnuovo of Ceva.
