Aggiornamento: 9/2001 Partenza: Osiglia situata in una valle laterale della Valle Bormida di Millesimo. E' attraversata dalla strada asfaltata per il Colle della Baltera ed il Melogno. Descrizione.
Partiamo dal municipio di Osiglia e scendiamo, seguendo la Provinciale, al ponte (km 0,5). Appena superato il ponte svoltiamo a destra prendendo la strada
in salita.
Al bivio andiamo a sinistra, in salita. Con qualche tornante raggiungiamo le case
di Orticeto (km 1,6) e proseguiamo.
Raggiunte alcune case l´asfalto termina (km 2,9) e proseguiamo, con pendenza minore,
arrivando ad un incrocio (km 3,5).
Qui incontriamo l´itinerario 4 e le indicazioni RAMP di una gara di MTB; svoltiamo
a sinistra con percorso opposto a quello della gara.
Il lungo tratto seguente non presenta grandi dislivelli, seguiamo il tracciato
più marcato trascurando le numerose strade che incontriamo, qualche difficoltà
di orientamento.
Arriviamo ad un incrocio (km 5,2) dove i segnavia RAMP vanno a sinistra. Qui svoltiamo
a destra ed iniziamo a salire un tratto più ripido. Arriviamo ad un bivio dove
troviamo il segnavia (km 5,9).
Lo seguiamo andando a sinistra. La salita conduce all´incrocio con un altro sentiero
FIE e proseguiamo diritti fino ad uscire su una strada forestale (km 6.5).
Svoltiamo a sinistra e poi a destra ed arriviamo in vetta (km 6,8).
Per la discesa ritorniamo indietro e scendiamo all´incrocio dove, da destra, siamo
saliti. Non svoltiamo e proseguiamo sulla strada forestale che va in discesa a
sinistra.
La discesa prosegue piuttosto ripida ma sempre sulla stradina. Trascuriamo le
deviazioni ed arriviamo ad un'altra strada che seguiamo a sinistra (segnavia).
Senza particolari problemi arriviamo al quadrivio di quota 856 dove troviamo gli
itinerari 4 e 2 (km 8,6). Vedi schizzo.
Andiamo diritti (itinerario 2, al contrario) raggiungendo l´asfalto dove saliamo
a destra raggiungendo il crinale (km 10,6).
Svoltiamo a destra e vediamo due strade sterrate. Prendiamo quella di sinistra
e procediamo in leggera discesa. Al bivio andiamo a destra, poi scendiamo seguendo
le indicazioni RAMP.
Ad un incrocio non segnalato andiamo a sinistra ed arriviamo
rapidamente alle case di Carlevari (km 12,1).
Proseguendo la discesa su strada asfaltata arriviamo sulla provinciale quasi di
fronte al municipio di Osiglia (km 12,6). Dislivello: 450 m in salita ed altrettanti in discesa. Ciclabilità: 92% Osservazioni:

We depart from the town hall of Osiglia and we go down, following the Provincial
road, reaching the bridge (km 0,5). Just get over the bridge we turn to the right
taking the only road.
To the fork we go to the left, in slope. With some hairping curves we reach the
houses of Orticeto (km 1,6) and we continue.
Reached some houses the asphalt road it finishes (km 2,9) and we continue, with
little inclination, arriving to an intersection (km 3,5).
Here we meet the itinerary 4 and the indications RAMP of a competition of MTB;
we turn to the left with opposite run to that of the competition.
The long following tract doesn't introduce great gradients, we follow the most
marked layout neglecting the numerous road that we meet; some difficulties of
orientation.
We arrive to an intersection (km 5,2) where the trail signs RAMP originate from
left. We turn to the right here and we begin to climb a more steep tract. We arrive
to a fork where we find the trail sign FIE (km 5,9).
Let's follow it going to the left. The slope conducts to the intersection with
another path FIE where we continue straight on to go out on a forest road (km
6.5).
We turn to the left first then to the right and we arrive on the peak (km 6,8).
For the descent we turn back and we go down to the intersection where, from right,
we have been climbed. We don't turn and we continue on the forest road that goes
to the left in descent.
The descent continues rather steep but always on the road. We neglect the deviations
and we arrive to another road that we follow to the left (trail sign FIE). Without
particular problems we reach the crossroads of altitude 856 where we find the
itineraries 4 and 2 (km 8,6).
We go straight on (itinerary 2, contrarily) reaching the asphalt road where we
ascent to the right reaching the ridge (km 10,6).
We turn to the right and we see two dirt roads. We take that of left and we proceed
in light descent. To the fork we go to the right, then we go down following the
indications RAMP. To an intersection not signalled we go to the left and we quickly
arrive to the houses of Carlevari (km 12,1).
Continuing the descent on asphalt road we arrive on the provincial road almost
in the town hall of Osiglia (km 12,6). Gradient: 450 ms in slope and as many in descent. Onn saddle: 92% Observations: it should be also practicable in contrary sense, perhaps
with greater difficulty
(km 5,9).
