Dalla vetta imbocchiamo il sentiero che scende a nord, in comune con l'itinerario
8 (segnavia , poco visibile).
Il sentiero scende ad una selletta (km 0,6) dove trascuriamo i sentieri laterali e saliamo per superare un dosso.
Seguiamo il sentiero
che scende ad un bivio (km 1). Lasciamo il sentiero che prosegue invitante
e svoltiamo a sinistra entrando in una stradina che scende nel bosco.
Dopo meno di cento metri incontriamo un altro bivio dove svoltiamo a destra seguendo
una strada che scende velocemente con qualche tornante.
La strada confluisce in un'altra migliore (km 1,8) che seguiamo a sinistra.
La strada corre
tra campi recintati. Ad un bivio teniamo la destra, superiamo un dosso e scendiamo al bivio con la strada percorsa dall'itinerario 12 (km 2,7).
Svoltiamo a destra e percorriamo il crinale fino ad un bivio (km 3,3; Colle di Alpicella) dove andiamo a sinistra. Trascuriamo le strade laterali e scendiamo su una mulattiera non ripida ma sassosa.
Dopo aver aggirato uno sperone di roccia la strada sale fino alle case di Borgo (km 4,5).
Attraversiamo il paesino e scendiamo su asfalto superando la chiesa ed i ruderi del castello fino a raggiungere la strada provinciale (km 5,5).
Svoltiamo a sinistra e scendiamo a Montessoro (km 6,2). Dislivello: -450 m. Ciclabilità: 100% Asfalto: 29% Osservazioni:

From the peak we take the path that goes down to north, in common with the itinerary 8 (signal track , few visible).
The path goes down to a little pass (km 0,6) where we neglect the side paths and we climb for overcoming a back.
We follow the path that it goes down to a fork (km 1). We leave the path that continues inviting and we turns to the left entering a narrow road that goes down in the wood.
After less than one hundred meters we meet another fork where we turn to the right following a road that quickly goes down with some hairping bends.
The road meets in another better (km 1,8) that we follow to the left.
The road races among fenced fields. To a fork we hold the right, we overcome a back and we go down to the fork with the road crossed by the itinerary 12 (km 2,7).
We turn to the right and we cross the ridge up to a fork (km 3,3; Pass of Alpicella) where we go to the left. We neglect the side roads and we go down on a no steep but stony mule-track.
After having revolved a spur of rock the road it climbs up to the houses of Borgo (km 4,5).
We cross the country and we go down on asphalt overcoming the church and the ruins of the castle up to reach the provincial road (km 5,5).
We turn to the left and we go down to Montessoro (km 6,2). Gradient: -450 ms. Cycle: 100% Asphalt: 29% Observations:
