Dalla stazione di Sestri Levante seguiamo la viabilità cittadina fino a raggiungere la rotatoria all'ingresso dell'autostrada. Giriamo ed imbocchiamo la strada (via Santa Vittoria) che costeggia l'autostrada.
La strada costeggia il torrente Gromolo
e la seguiamo fino a Santa Vittoria (km 5,5) dove svoltiamo a destra.
Saliamo con qualche tornante fino a circa un chilometro da Villa Tassani. in corrispondenza di un tornante destro lasciamo la strada ed imbocchiamo una stradina a sinistra (km 9,2).
Superiamo una sbarra e seguiamo la strada sterrata che porta agli uffici della miniera di Libiola, ora riconvertiti in villa. Superiamo una catena (km 9,4) e ed affrontiamo i tornanti che ci permettono di guadagnare quota passando tra i cantieri della vecchia miniera di rame.
Ad un bivio (km 9,9) lasciamo a sinistra la strada che porterebbe agli scavi a cielo aperto
e saliamo ripidamente.
Lasciamo a destra (km 10,1) il sentiero per Tassani e saliamo al valico (km 10,2).
La strada scende per circa duecento metri e prosegue pianeggiante inoltrandosi nella valle del Gromolo.
Quando il lungo tratto pieneggiante
termina (km 12,4) iniziamo la lunga ed impegnativa salita.
Ad un bivio (km 13,6) andiamo a sinistra e percorriamo un tratto con moderata pendenza che ci permette un po' di recupero.
Superiamo Case Gromolo (km 13,9) e riprendiamo la dura salita.
In corrispondenza di un tornante (km 16) lasciamo a destra il sentiero che porta al vicinissimo Colle Aietta, consigliabile a chi sia diretto al monte Tregin.
La strada sale con qualche altro tornante e raggiungiamo (km 16,3) l'incrocio col sentiero FIE diretto al Tregin.
Saliamo ad una sbarra (km 16,5) e raggiungiamo il punto più elevato ai piedi del monte Roccagrande.
Scendiamo ed attraversiamo le pendici del monte Bocco con qualche saliscendi ed infine saliamo al bivio (km 19,1) dove svoltiamo a sinistra per raggiungere il vicinissimo Passo del Bocco. Dislivello: 980 m. Ciclabilità: 100% Asfalto: 47% Osservazioni:

From the station of Sestri Levante we follow the city streets up to reach the rotatory to the entry of the highway. We turn and we take the road (street Saint Victoria) that it skirts along the highway.
The road skirts along the stream Gromolo and we follows it up to Saint Victoria (km 5,5) where we turn to the right.
We climb with some hairping bends up to around a kilometer from Villa Tassani. In correspondence of a right hairping bend we leave the road and we take to the left a narrower road (km 9,2).
We overcome a bar and we follow the dirt road that it brings to the offices of the mine of Libiola, now reverts in a villa. We overcome a chain (km 9,4) and and we face the hairping bends that allow us to gain quota passing among the yards of the old copper mine.
To a fork (km 9,9) we leave to the left the road that would bring to the opencast yards and we steeply go up.
We leave to the right (km 10,1) the path for Tassani and we go up to the pass (km 10,2).
The road goes down for around two hundred meters and continues level forwarding itself in the valley of the Gromolo.
When the long plain tract finishes (km 12,4) we begin the long and binding slope.
To a fork (km 13,6) we go to the left and we cross tract with moderate inclination that allows us some recovery.
We overcome Houses Gromolo (km 13,9) and we take again the hard slope. In correspondence of a hairping bend (km 16) we leave to the right the path that brings to the near Aietta pass, advisable to whom is directed to the Tregin mountain.
The road climbs with some other hairping bend and we reaches (km 16,3) the intersection with the path FIE to the Tregin.
We go up to a bar (km 16,5) and we reach the most elevated point to the feet of the Roccagrande mountain.
We go down and we cross the slopes of the Bocco mountain with some ups and downs and we finally climb the fork (km 19,1) where we turn to the left for reaching the near Pass of the Bocco. Gradient: 980 ms. Cycle: 100% Asphalt: 47% Observations:
