Da Vesallo (tabellone turistico dei sentieri) seguiamo la strada principale, passiamo tra le case più meridionali del paese
ed iniziamo a scendere. Al primo incrocio (km 0,2) svoltiamo a sinistra e prendiamo una strada asfaltata che sale. Seguiamo senza deviazioni questa strada che costeggia la montagna. Raggiunto il punto più elevato la strada scende, diventa sterrata e perviene al piazzale nei pressi del forte (km 5,1).
Di nuovo su asfalto percorriamo la discesa che corre sul ciglio della grande cava. Costeggiati gli impianti della cava usciamo sulla SS582 (km 7,9).
Svoltiamo a destra e raggiungiamo il vicino incrocio con la val Pennavaire. Svoltiamo a destra e subito a sinistra raggiungendo Conscente (km 9,3). Dislivello: 120 m in salita e 330 m in discesa. Ciclabilità: 100% Asfalto: 90% Osservazioni: itinerario quasi interamente asfaltato (e, fra poco, lo sarà del tutto). Alternativa panoramica alla strada di fondovalle.

From Vesallo (tourist notice-board of the paths) we follow the principal road, we pass among the houses most southern of the country and we begin to go down. To the first intersection (km 0,2) we turn to the left and we take an asphalted road that it climbs. We follow without deviations this road that skirts the mountain. Reached the most elevated point the road it goes down, it becomes dirty and it reaches the square near the fortress (km 5,1).
Again on asphalt we cross the descent that races on the edge of the great quarry. Skirted the fittingses of the quarry we go out on the SS582 (km 7,9).
We turn to the right and we reach the close intersection with the valley Pennavaire. We turn to the right and immediately to the left reaching Conscente (km 9,3). Gradient: 120 ms in ascent and 330 ms in descent. Cycle: 100% Asphalt: 90% Observations: itinerary almost entirely asphalted (and, it will be entirely, soon). Panoramic alternative to the road on the valley floor.
