Descrizione.
Partiamo dal vistoso ponte sul fiume Centa ed andiamo verso sud per un centinaio di metri. Al semaforo svoltiamo a destra in via Ruffini.
La seguiamo fino all´incrocio con una strada che sale a sinistra. Svoltiamo ed andiamo sempre in salita.
Poco dopo incrociamo la storica via Romana che sale a sinistra (km 0,4; cartelli esplicativi).
Seguiamo la strada che, superati i primi metri in salita, prosegue quasi pianeggiante costeggiando i ruderi della necropoli romana.
Lungo il percorso incrociamo numerose stradine che portano alle ville circostanti, ma il percorso è sempre piuttosto evidente. In ogni caso esiste anche un segnavia FIE ( r12).
Ad un incrocio (km 2) usciamo su asfalto, svoltiamo a destra e, poco dopo, andiamo a sinistra di nuovo su sterrato. Costeggiando un campeggio la strada diventa sentiero, poi incontriamo qualche tratto asfaltato. Nei pressi di un altro campeggio la strada diviene del tutto asfaltata e sale per superare il promontorio.
Arriviamo alla chiesetta di Santa Croce dove entriamo sulla viabilità normale (km 4,7).
In leggera discesa raggiungiamo un bivio (km 5,5) dove andiamo diritti e saliamo rapidamente alla chiesa di Solva (km 5,9).
Non raggiungiamo la chiesa ma proseguiamo in salita per duecento metri. Qui prendiamo la strada che va a destra (Strada Panoramica Solva-Cavia).
Poco dopo iniziamo a salire piuttosto ripidamente e guadagniamo quota con qualche tornante. Arriviamo ad un bivio dove proseguiamo diritti (km 7,5; Strada Panoramica Vegliasco).
Con andamento in leggera salita arriviamo ad incrociare la strada di Vegliasco (km 11,6) e svoltiamo a destra. Con pendenza maggiore proseguiamo in salita fino al piazzale del santuario (km 14,4).
Entriamo a destra nell'area sacra recintata (se i cancelli sono chiusi è possibile utilizzare il cancelletto a destra). Saliamo sul largo sentiero lastricato che termina ai piedi del santuario (km 14,7).
Dislivello: 590 m.
Ciclabilità: 100%
Osservazioni: purtroppo è quasi interamente asfaltato; tranne un paio di chilometri sulla via Romana.

Description.
We depart from the showy bridge on the river Centa and we go toward south for hundred meters. At the traffic light we turn to the right in via Ruffini.
We follow it up to the intersection with a road that climbs to the left. We turn and we ascent.
Shortly after we cross the historical Roman street that climbs to the left (km 0,4; explanatory poster).
We follow this road that, overcome the first meters in ascent, it almost continues level skirting along the ruins of the Roman necropolis.
Along the run we cross many little roads that leads in the surrounding country houses, but the run is always rather evident. However a trail sign FIE also exists ( r12).
At an intersection (km 2) we go out on tarmack, we turn to the right and we go again shortly after to the left on dirt. skirting along a camping the road becomes path, then we meet some tarmac tracts. Near another camping the road becomes entirely tarmac and climbs to overcome the promontory.
We reach the little church of S. Croce where we enter on a bigger road (km 4,7).
In light descent we reach a fork (km 5,5) where we go straight on and we quickly arrive to the church of Solva (km 5,9).
We continue in ascent for two hundred meters. Here take the road that goes to the right (Panoramic Road Solva-Cavia).
Shortly after we begin to rather steeply climb and gain height with some hairping curves. We arrive to a fork where we continue straight on (km 7,5; Panoramic Road Vegliasco).
With course in light ascent we arrive to cross the road of Vegliasco (km 11,6) and we turn to the right. With greater inclination we continue in ascent up to the square of the sanctuary (km 14,4).
Gradient: 580 m.

Note: unfortunately it is almost entirely tarmac, except some kilometers on the Roman street.
