Partenza: il monte Dubasso è raggiungibile con l'itinerario 5 dalla Val Tanaro; con l'itinerario 2 o seguendo al contrario questo itinerario.
Descrizione.
Dalla vetta scendiamo per il sentiero verso nord e raggiungiamo il sentiero dell'AV AV.
Voltiamo a sinistra e scendiamo raggiungendo una strada sterrata dove svoltiamo a sinistra (km 1). Dopo qualche decina di metri raggiungiamo una strada dove svoltiamo ancora a sinistra.
La discesa è facile anche se un poco dissestata. Al primo bivio svoltiamo a destra poi proseguiamo lungamente ed arriviamo in vista della sottostante chiesa.
La strada costeggia le pareti rocciose della Rocca Asperiosa e raggiunge un incrocio (km 5,6). Svoltiamo a destra e scendiamo rapidamente alla chiesa di Madonna del Lago dove troviamo l´asfalto (km 6).
Con rapida discesa asfaltata raggiungiamo la provinciale (km 8,5), svoltiamo a sinistra e raggiungiamo Alto (km 11).
Dislivello:  890 m.
Ciclabilità: 99 %
Osservazioni: percorribile anche in salita ma qualche tratto particolarmente dissestato potrebbe creare problemi.

Description.
From the peak we go down on the path toward northerly and we reach the path of the AV AV.
We turn to the left and we go down reaching a dirt road where we turn to the left (km 1). After about ten meters we reach a road where we turn to the left.
The descent is easy even if a little ruined. At the first fork we turn to the right then we longly continue and we arrive in sight of the church below.
The road skirts along the rocky walls of the Rocca Asperiosa and reaches an intersection (km 5,6). We turn to the right and we quickly go down to the church of Madonna of the Lake where we find the asphalt (km 6).
With fast asphalt descent we reach the provincial road (km 8,5), we turn to the left and we reach Alto (km 11).
Gradient: 890 m.
On saddle: 99%
Observations: practicable also in slope but some tracts particularly ruined it could create problems.
