Partenza: la casa forestale è situata nei pressi della strada che da Rezzoaglio sale ad Amborzasco e al Passo del Chiodo.
Descrizione.
Nei pressi della casa forestale del monte Penna è situato un incrocio con una larga strada forestale; siamo a 16 km da Magnasco. Nei pressi parcheggio.
Proseguiamo sulla strada asfaltata che proviene da Amborzasco, scendiamo brevemente poi saliamo al Passo del Chiodo (km 1,5; confine con la regione Emilia-Romagna).
Scendiamo sul versante parmigiano. Quando raggiungiamo un tornante a sinistra (km 4,7) lasciamo la strada asfaltata e svoltiamo a destra in una strada sterrata. Proseguiamo con andamento pianeggiante raggiungendo un bivio (km 5,4) dove andiamo a destra e saliamo raggiungendo un valico dove è situata una baracca (km 5,8).
La strada prosegue in discesa e raggiunge un tornante (km 6,9). Da sinistra proviene una strada (segnavia CAI Parma 863) che sale da Santa Maria del Taro, noi proseguiamo in discesa a destra.
La discesa prosegue per circa due chilometri poi iniziamo a salire e superiamo il fiume Taro.
La pendenza diminuisce ed arriviamo rapidamente al Passo dell'Incisa dove rientriamo in Liguria (km 11,8).
Attraversato il piazzale proseguiamo in discesa sulla larga strada sterrata. Evitiamo le deviazioni e raggiungiamo il punto di partenza (km 13)
Dislivello: in salita 250 m.
Ciclabilità: 100%
Osservazioni: bella passeggiata tra le foreste che circondano il Penna. Queste strade forestali sono, assurdamente, aperte al traffico automobilistico.

 

Around the Penna mountain

Description.
Near the forest house of the mount Penna it is situated an intersection with a wide forest road; we are 16 kms from Magnasco. Near parking lot.
We continue on the asphalt road that it originates from Amborzasco, we go down shortly then rise to the Pass of the Nail (km 1,5; border with the region Emilia-Romagna).
We go down on the parmesan slope. When we reach to the left a hairping curve (km 4,7) we leave the asphalt road and we turn to the right in a dirt road. We continue with level course reaching a fork (km 5,4) where we go to the right, in slope, reaching a pass where a hut is situated (km 5,8).
The road continues in descent and reaches a hairping curve (km 6,9). From left arrives a road (trail sign CAI Parma 863) that rises from S.Maria of the Taro, we continue to the right in descent.
The descent continues for around two kilometers then we begin to climb and we get over the spring of river Taro.
The inclination decreases and we quickly reach the Pass dell'Incisa where we reenter in Liguria (km 11,8).
Crossed the square we continue in descent on the wide dirt road. We avoid the deviations and we reach the point of departure (km 13)

On saddle: 100%
Observations: beautiful walk among the forests that surround the Penna. These forest roads are, absurdly, open to the cars.
