Aggiornamento: 6/2008 Inizio: il rifugio Bertone è raggiungibile con l'itinerario 1. Percorso.
Prendiamo il largo ed evidente sentiero che scende di fronte al rifugio e perdiamo quota con qualche tornante raggiungendo un bivio (km 0,2) dove teniamo la sinistra (segnavia dell'Alta Via; e TMB del Tour du Mont Blanc) .
Percorriamo un sentiero sempre ripido o molto ripido ma largo e con fondo buono.
Incontriamo molti tornanti, circa quaranta, che generalmente non sono chiusi e ciò, insieme all'ampiezza del sentiero, consente di superarli senza troppe difficoltà.
La discesa comunque è impegnativa a causa della pendenza e della concentrazione continua richiesta. Non è un percorso
esposto tuttavia il sentiero sovrasta qualche alto salto roccioso e deve essere percorso con cautela.
Non troviamo incroci finchè confluiamo in una strada sterrata (km 3,1) che seguiamo a destra.
Scendiamo con qualche tornante e superiamo il torrente su un ponte (km 3,8). Superiamo la sbarra che difende dal traffico non autorizzato e proseguiamo sulla strada che diviene asfaltata
e ci porta a Villair Superiore e a Villair Inferiore.
Ad un incrocio andiamo diritti e raggiungiamo Courmayeur uscendo sulla piazza della chiesa (km 5,7). Dislivello: -730 m Ciclabilità: 100% Asfalto: 25% Osservazioni: è un percorso assai frequentato dagli escursionisti per cui è particolarmente necessario mantenere una velocità bassa e controllata.

Updating: 6/2008 Beginning: the refuge Bertone is attainable by the itinerary 1. Run.
We take the wide and evident path that it goes down in front of the refuge and we lose altitude with some hairping bends reaching a fork (km 0,2) where we hold the left (signal track of the Alta Via; and TMB del Tour du Mont Blanc).
We always cross a steep or very steep but wide and with good bottom path.
We meet many hairping bend, around forty, that generally are not too narrow and this, together with the ampleness of the path, it allows to overcome it without too difficulties.
However the descent is binding because of the inclination and of the continuous concentration required. It is not an exposed run nevertheless the path overhangs some high rocky jump and it must be crosses with caution.
We don't find intersections until we meet in an unmetalled road (km 3,1) that we follow to the right.
We go down with some hairping bend and we overcome the stream on a bridge (km 3,8). We overcome the bar that defends from the not authorized traffic and we continues on the road that becomes asphalted and it brings us to Villair Superiore and Villair Inferiore.
To an intersection we go straight and we reach Courmayeur going out on the square of the church (km 5,7). Gradient: -730 ms Cycle: 100% Asphalt: 25% Observation: it's a run veryl frequented by the excursionists for which it is particularly necessary to maintain a low and controlled speed.
