Dalla chiesa seguiamo la larga sterrata utilizzata per salire.
Al tornante lasciamo a destra le rovine della cappella di Sant'Agnese e continuiamo sulla strada fino al tornante successivo (km 0,9).
Qui svoltiamo a sinistra ed imbocchiamo il sentiero che porta alla sorgente. Dopo qualche metro in salita il sentiero scende rapidamente ma senza eccessive difficoltà e termina sulla strada sterrata (km 1,3) che proviene da Piancosso.
Svoltiamo a destra e seguiamo la strada che scende a costeggiare il confine di una grande cava. Andiamo costantemente in discesa e senza possibilità di errore fino al fondovalle. Attraversiamo un ponte (km 2,8) ed usciamo sull'asfalto.
Svoltiamo a sinistra e percorriamo la pianeggiante strada di fondovalle che ci porta al ponte pedonale in pietra sul Tanaro (km 3,6).
Senza attraversarlo svoltiamo a destra, raggiungiamo il ponte nuovo ed entriamo sulla SS (km 4) che attraversiamo per entrare in paese e percorrerne le stradine fino al Municipio (km 4,7). Dislivello: -380 m. Ciclabilità: 100% Asfalto: 48% Osservazioni:

From the church we follow the wide dirt road used for climbing. To the hairping bend we leave to the right the ruins of the chapel of Sant'Agnese and we continue on the road up to the following hairping bend (km 0,9).
We turn to the left here and we take the path that brings to the source. After some meter in ascent the path quickly but without excessive difficulties goes down and it finishes on the metalled road (km 1,3) that it comes from Piancosso.
We turn to the right and we follow the road that goes down to skirt the border of a great quarry. We constantly go in descent and without possibility of error up to the valley floor. We cross a bridge (km 2,8) and we go out on the asphalt.
We turn to the left and we cross the level road of valley floor that brings us to the pedestrian stone bridge on the Tanaro (km 3,6).
Without crossing we turn to the right, we reach the new bridge and we enter on the SS (km 4) that we cross for entering country and to cross its narrow road up to the Town hall (km 4,7). Gradient: -380 ms. Cycle: 100% Asphalt: 48% Osservations:
