Descrizione.
Dalla chiesa di Battifollo seguiamo in discesa la strada principale in direzione
Scagnello. Al bivio svoltiamo a destra e proseguiamo su asfalto in leggera salita.
Lasciamo le ultime case ed arriviamo ad un bivio dove, a sinistra, sorge un grande
pilone sacro (km 1,5).
Lasciamo l´asfalto e svoltiamo a destra in un'ampia strada sterrata. Dopo qualche
metro in salita la strada scende ed attraversa zone coltivate e curati boschi
di castagno.
Raggiungiamo un bivio (km 3,5) dove scendiamo a sinistra per attraversare una
sorgente. In salita raggiungiamo l´incrocio dove, da sinistra, arriva l´itinerario
17.
Proseguiamo diritti sull´ampia strada in discesa. Passiamo presso una cascina
e raggiungiamo un incrocio (km 4,4) dove la strada principale scende a destra.
Noi andiamo diritto in una strada che prosegue quasi pianeggiante.
La strada raggiunge una strettoia dove inizia una ripida discesa. Un tratto meno
ripido porta ad alcune case dove entriamo sull´asfalto (km 5,8).
Seguiamo la strada asfaltata che scende velocemente. Passiamo sotto al castello
ed incontriamo un cartello segnaletico che indica una mulattiera a destra (km
8).
Lasciamo l´asfalto e prendiamo la mulattiera che scende veloce terminando poco
fuori Nucetto che raggiungiamo andando a sinistra (km 8,6).

Description.
From the church of Battifollo we follow in descent the main road in direction
Scagnello. At the fork we turn to the right and we continue on asphalt in light
ascent. We leave the last houses and we arrive to a fork where, to the left,
a great sacred aedicule rises (km 1,5).
We leave the asphalt and we turn to the right in an ample dirt road. After some
meter in ascent the road goes down and crosses cultivated zones and woods of
chestnut tree.
We reach a fork (km 3,5) where we go down to the left to cross a source. In
ascent we reach the intersection where, from left, arrives the itinerary 17.
We continue straight on the ample road in descent. We pass near a farmhouse
and we reach an intersection (km 4,4) where the mainroad goes down to the right.
We go straight on a road that continues almost level.
The road reaches a narrow passage where a steep descent begins. A less steep
stretch leads to some houses where we enter on the asphalt (km 5,8).
We follow the tarmac that quickly goes down. We pass under the castle and we
meet a descriptive poster that points out a mule-track to the right (km 8).
We leave the asphalt and we take the mule-track that it fast goes down finishing
a little out Nucetto that we reach going to the left (km 8,6).
