Salita alla Colla dei Termini da Ormea

Descrizione.
Attraversiamo la piazza della Libertà ad Ormea raggiungendone l'estremità a monte. Evitiamo la strada a sinistra e proseguiamo diritti. Svoltiamo a destra all´incrocio seguente e saliamo alla cappella di S. Mauro.
Al primo incrocio (km 1,1) svoltiamo a destra. La salita prosegue con pendenza costante, trascuriamo una strada a destra e proseguiamo raggiungendo Villaro (3,7) e poi Cascine (km 5,7).
Al valico sopra al paese termina l´asfalto.
Proseguiamo la panoramica salita che alterna lunghe diagonali a qualche tornante. Il tratto più ripido è ora facilitato da un rivestimento di cemento.
Ad un bivio (km 9,7) lasciamo a destra l'itinerario 10 e saliamo a sinistra.
Trascuriamo le deviazioni minori (anche se segnalate MTB) e raggiungiamo il valico (km 14,5).
Dislivello: 1260 m.
Ciclabilità: 100%
Osservazioni: la salita è esposta a sud e assolata. Dal passo possiamo salire a piedi a sud, in pochi minuti, alla Punta dei Termini allargando il panorama.

Ascent from Ormea to Colla dei Termini

Description.
We cross Piazza della Libertà to Ormea reaching the higher extremity of it. We avoid to the left the road and we continue straight. We turn to the right at the following cross and we climb to the chapel of S.Mauro.
To the first intersection (km 1,1) we turn to the right. The ascent continues with constant inclination, we neglect to the right a road and we continue reaching Villaro (3,7) and then Cascine (km 5,7).
To the pass above to the country it finishes the asphalt.
We continue the panoramic ascent that alternates long diagonals to some hairping bend. The steeper tract is now facilitated by a covering of concrete.
To a fork (km 9,7) we leave to the right the itinerary 10 and we climb to the left.
We neglect the smaller deviations (even if they are signal MTB) and we reach the pass (km 14,5).
Gradient: 1260 ms.
On saddle: 100%
Observations: the slope is exposed to south and sunny. From the Pass we can climb, in few minutes to south by foot, the Point of the Terms widening the panorama.
