Salita da Viola al Mindino

Percorso.
Dalla piazza di Viola saliamo, per asfalto, a S. Grato (S. Grèe, km 2,8).
All´inizio del grande piazzale sale a sinistra una larga strada asfaltata. La seguiamo. In corrispondenza degli ultimi palazzi l´asfalto ha termine e proseguiamo in salita raggiungendo uno spiazzo antistante ad una cascina.
Saliamo a destra della baita tenendo la destra anche al bivio subito seguente.
Inizia una dura salita che attraversa il pendio. La pendenza si attenua e raggiungiamo un bivio nei pressi di un faggio (km 4) dove saliamo a sinistra. Senza altre deviazioni proseguiamo sulla ripida strada che che sale a tornanti e concede pochi e brevi tratti dove tirare il fiato.
Lasciamo a destra la partenza di uno ski-lift e raggiungiamo la stazione di arrivo della nuova seggiovia. Proseguiamo faticosamente entrando in un boschetto di abeti e poi, con due traversi ed un tornante, arriviamo infine al Piano Stopè, dove si trovano i ruderi della stazione di arrivo della vecchia seggiovia (km 9,3).
Ancora una secca ma breve rampa tra i prati per arrivare in cresta.
Inizia un tratto in saliscendi che termina con la discesa ai vecchi impianti in località Muceretti (km 10.5). Qui non seguiamo la invitante strada sterrata a sinistra dello ski-lift ma saliamo per la massima pendenza per raggiungere il crinale che chiude la valletta.
Un tratto a moderata pendenza sul crinale porta alla base del Mindino.
La sterrata attraversa il versante occidentale della montagna per portarsi sul versante sud dove incrocia la sterrata che sale da Colla di Casotto. Saliamo a sinistra raggiungendo con qualche tornante la vetta (km 13).
Dislivello: 1250 m
Ciclabilità: 95%
Osservazioni: La vetta è deturpata da una enorme croce alta 30 metri e, come se non bastasse, vi è pure una baracca dell'ANA.
Però il panorama è splendido.
La sterrata di salita è attualmente in discrete condizioni fino alla stazione superiore della seggiovia, poichè è stata riordinata per costruire i nuovi impianti. Il fondo in terra battuta diventa però un bel pantano con la pioggia.

Ascent from Viola to bric Mindino

Trail description.
From the square of Viola we climb, on asphalt road, to S.Grato (S.Grèe, km 3).
At the begin of the great square it climbs to the left a wide asphalt road. We follow it. In correspondence of the last buildings the paving has term and we continue in slope reaching a square before of a farmhouse.
We climb to the right of the house, also immediately holding the right at the following alternative.
A hard slope begins, made still more binding because the ground in bad conditions. Reached an alternative near a beech tree (km 4.5) we climb to the left (to the right varying). Without other deviations we continue on the steep road that grants few and brief stretches whether to throw the breath.
We reach the departure of a skilift and continue to the left finally reaching the Plain Stopè, where the ruins of the station of arrival of the chair-lift are found (km 9.3).
Still a shoal but brief ramp among the lawns to arrive on the ridge.
An up-and-down stretch begins that finishes with the descent to the old ski installations in place Muceretti (km 10.5). Here we the don't follow the inviting road to the left of the skilift. On the maximum inclination we climbe to reach the ridge that it closes the small valley.
A moderate inclination tract on the ridge brings at the base of the Mindino.
The road crosses the western slope of the mountain to go itself on the south slope where it crosses another road that it climbs from Colla of Casotto.
We climb to the left reaching with some hairping curves the peak (km 13).
Gradient:   1250 ms
On saddle:   100%
Observations:  The peak is defaced by an enormous cross 45 meters tall.
However the panorama is splendid.
