Dalla Colla seguiamo la strada che scende in direzione sud-est, in comune con l'itinerario 25.
Dopo aver superato il punto più basso la strada sale costeggiando Teit Goderie e raggiunge un bivio (km 1,2) dove l'itinerario 25 inizia la discesa.
Svoltiamo a destra e saliamo lungo una larga strada forestale. Al tornante (km 1,5) lasciamo la strada e svoltiamo a destra. Percorriamo qualche metro e svoltiamo a sinistra attraversando l'intaglio che incide il crinale.
Il largo sentiero scende alle rovine dei Teit Cercè (km 1,6)
dove svoltiamo a destra.
Il sentiero è in completo abbandono, invaso da erba e rami. Lo seguiamo cercando di intuirne il percorso tra la vegetazione.
Usciamo sui pascoli e seguiamo la mulattiera il cui tracciato si intuisce vagamente tra l'erba.
Perdiamo quota con qualche tornante. In prossimità dei primi alberi svoltiamo a sinistra
e guadagnamo la riva sinistra del vallone mirando ai casolari visibili nel bosco.
Il sentiero alterna tratti visibili ed in buone condizioni ad altri infrascati da cespugli spinosi. Seguiamo il sentiero o le tracce ad esso parallele e raggiungiamo le rovine di case Marghe (km 2,6).
Tra le rovine seguiamo il sentiero che scende. Dopo alcuni metri in cui il sentiero scompare ritroviamo una traccia sempre più evidente che diviene largo sentiero che scende senza difficoltà.
Ad un bivio (km 3,2) andiamo a sinistra (ma andare a destra dovrebbe essere la stessa cosa). Seguendo vaghe tracce effettuiamo un tornante e raggiungiamo il rudere di un casolare. Scendiamo a sinistra entrando in un prato. Dopo i primi metri ogni traccia scompare. Attraversiamo il prato ed un ruscello per salire ai visibili Teit Tromba (km 3,6; fonte).
Dopo i tetti il sentiero sembra sparire, invece dopo i primi metri ci troviamo su un sentiero largo e solido che scende con qualche stretto tornante. Incontriamo un sentiero maggiore (km 4,1; che arriva da destra: forse era possibile imboccarlo fin dall'inizio?) che seguiamo a sinistra.
Ormai senza difficoltà scendiamo costeggiando il Rio Secco. Il sentiero si allarga a mulattiera e a stradina. Ai Teit Soufranin (km 4,6) inizia la strada sterrata
che seguiamo in discesa. La strada diventa asfaltata e termina ad un ponte (km 6,3) dove confluisce nella strada per Palanfrè.
Svoltiamo a sinistra e raggiungiamo Vernante (km
6,9 alla chiesa). Dislivello: -640 m. Ciclabilità: 97% Asfalto: 18% Osservazioni: assolutamente da evitare in caso di nebbia. Itinerario che costringe ad una continua ricerca del giusto percorso su sentieri dimenticati.
Descent from Prarosso Pass to Vernante, 2

From the Pass we follow the road that goes down in direction southeast, in common with the itinerary 25.
After having overcome the lowest point the road it climbs skirting Teit Goderie and it reaches a fork (km 1,2) where the itinerary 25 begin the descent.
We turn to the right and we climb on a wide forest road. To the hairping bend (km 1,5) we leave the road and we turn to the right. We cross some meter and we turn to the left crossing the carving that cuts the ridge.
The wide path goes down to the ruins of the Teit Cercè (km 1,6) where we turn to the right.
The path is whole abandonment, invaded by grass and branches. Let's follow it trying to realize its run among the vegetation.
We go out on the pastures and we follow the mule-track whose traced it is vaguely realized among the grass.
We lose altitude with some hairping bends. In proximity of the first trees we turn to the left and gains the left shore of the valley contemplating to the visible farms in the wood.
The path alternates visible tracts and on good conditions to other cover by thorny bushes. We follow the path or the traces to it parallel and we reach the ruins of houses Marghe (km 2,6).
Among the ruins we follow the path that goes down. After some meters in which the path disappears we find again a more and more evident trace that becomes wide path that goes down without difficulty.
To a fork (km 3,2) we go to the left (but to go to the right should be the same thing). Following vague traces we effect a hairping bend and we reach the ruin of a farm. We go down to the left entering a lawn. After the first meters every trace disappears. We cross the lawn and a brook to climb to the visible Teit Tromba (km 3,6; source).
After the Tetti the path seems to disappear, instead after the first meters we find us on a wide and solid path that goes down with some narrow hairping bend. We meet a greater path (km 4,1; that it arrives from right: was it perhaps possible to take it since the beginning?) that we follow to the left.
By now without difficulty we go down skirting the Rio Secco. The path widens to mule-track and narrow road. To the Teit Soufranin (km 4,6) it begins the metalled road that we follow in descent. The road becomes asphalted and finishes to a bridge (km 6,3) where it meets in the road for Palanfrè.
We turn to the left and we reach Vernante (km 6,9 in the church). Gradient: -640 ms. Cycle: 97% Asphalt: 18% Observations: absolutely to avoid in case of fog. Itinerary that it forces to a continuous search of the correct run on forgotten paths.
