Dal parcheggio all´inizio del paese di Vigna torniamo verso Chiusa per una cinquantina
di metri, finché incontriamo a destra una stradina con indicazioni per
Olocco.
Svoltiamo e saliamo leggermente tra le case. Dopo l'ultimo edificio la strada
inizia a salire ripida nel bosco. Con salita sostenuta e costante arriviamo allo
spiazzo dove sorge la cappella dell'Olocco (km 2,6).
Qui si incontrano numerosi sentieri: a sinistra per il Colle del Mortè,
di fronte per Lurisia, a destra per Fiolera.
Proseguiamo sull´asfalto che sale dietro alla chiesa. La salita continua ad essere
ripida. Saliamo con qualche tornante, la strada si fa sterrata e prosegue sempre
con caratteristiche simili.
Arriviamo ad incontrare un'altra sterrata (km 6,3) e svoltiamo a destra.
La pendenza comincia a diminuire mentre andiamo in diagonale a destra, poi la
strada diventa pianeggiante ed arriviamo in vista della costruzioni del Gias Mascarone
Sottano.
Lasciamo a sinistra un sentiero e passiamo sopra alle costruzioni (km 8). Guadagniamo
quota con due tornanti e raggiungiamo il gias Mascarone di Mezzo (km 8,9) dove

From the parking lot to the beginning of the country of Vigna we return toward
Chiusa for about fifty meters, until we meet to the right a narrow road with indications
for Olocco.
We turn and climb slightly in the houses. After the last building the road begins
to climb steep in the wood. With sustained and constant ascent we reach the square
where the chapel of the Olocco rises (km 2,6).
Here numerous paths are met: to the left for the Pass of the Mortè, opposite
for Lurisia, to the right for Fiolera.
We continue on the tarmac that climbs behind the church. The continuous ascent
to be steep. Climb with some hairping curves, the road he makes a dirt one and
it always continues with similar characteristics.
We arrive to meet another dirt road (km 6,3) and we turn to the right.
The inclination starts to decrease while we are going in diagonal to the right,
then the road becomes level and we arrives in sight of the constructions of the
Gias Mascarone Sottano.
We leave to the left a path and we pass above to the constructions (km 8). Gain
height with two hairping curves and we reach the gias Mascarone di Mezzo (km 8,9)
where the road finishes.
To the left the mount Pigna is well visible with the arrival of the ski plants
and the possibility is evident to climb from here to go down to Lurisia. Gradient: 980. Cycle: 100% Tarmac: 53% Observations:
