Dal centro di Auronzo (municipio) seguiamo la SS 48 in direzione di Cortina.
Superata Giralba incontriamo a destra la strada della val Marzon (km 7,5; pista
invernale di slittino). Svoltiamo e saliamo lungo la larga strada asfaltata.
Superato un ponte vediamo a sinistra (km 11) una mulattiera e le indicazioni
per il rifugio.
La stradina sale nel bosco ed è caratterizzata da tornanti alternati
a lunghe diagonali con pendenza non eccessiva.
Incontriamo alcuni tratti danneggiati dalle alluvioni che dobbiamo superare
a piedi.
un´ultima diagonale più impegnativa porta ad un ripiano dal quale superiamo
la salita che porta a Forcella Maraia, a qualche metro dal rifugio (km 20). Dislivello: 1240 m. Ciclabilità: 97% Osservazioni:

From the center of Auronzo (town hall) we follow the SS 48 in direction of Cortina.
get over Giralba we meet to the right the road of the Val Marzon (km 7,5; winter
track of sled). We turn and rise along the wide asphalt road. get over a bridge
we see to the left (km 11) a mule-track and the indications for the shelter.
The narrow road rises in the wood and is characterized by hairping curves alternate
to long diagonals with non excessive inclination.
We meet some tracts damaged by the floods that we have to get over by foot.
A last more binding diagonal leads to a ledge from which we get over the slope
that leads to Forcella Maraia, some meter from the shelter (km 20). Gradient: 1240 ms. On saddle: 97% Observations:
